The 3rd Friday afternoon/evening of every month there is a "Cruise" night at the Court House Square in the center of town. Inverness is in North Central Florida ~20 miles west of I-75 at the northern end of the Florida Turnpike (Wildwood, FL).

So I removed the trim panel above the radiator, etc and the nose to see if I can modify the Grille Shutter Motor operation and I discovered I have no Grille Shutters. 🤔 What I have instead is a rubber flap that is "mounted" horizontally between the back of the "bumper" and the AC condenser. See...
I just used the Meguiar's Ultimate Wheel Cleaner on my wheels. Very pleased with it. I have the twin spoke 18" painted wheels with the coated polished aluminum spoke surfaces. They're a pain to clean with only soap & water and a brush. The inner barrels had a good deal of brake dust build up so...
While investigating the top well drains I discovered a "floating" ground terminal in the trunk behind the lining on the passenger side. It's just below the radio antenna. I fastened it down where I think it belongs but there are some issues. The "bolt hole" where I mounted the terminal isn't...
Does anyone know where the top well drain holes are located under the car? Are there drains in the well? Or does the water run around the base of the top at the trunk lid until it empties out into the quarter panels at the rear quarter windows?
Thx
I was ready to obtain a UPR dual catch can for my car but ... I've read that during winter weather the contents of the can and/or the hoses can freeze allowing combustion pressures to build up in the crankcase to the point of mild to severe engine damage. I realize that here in central FL we...
I stumbled over this recently while wading through threads on the CAI debate. Its interesting reading. From Mishimoto.

Saw this on Orlando Craigslist and it sounds like a bargain if you're pursuing a "built" EB with the NX2. (It's not my car so if you're interested/curious contact the owner directly through Craigslist.)

So I removed my bypass valve & have a nifty new DV+ but I can't figure out how to disassemble the d@mn OE diverter. The OE part is CJ5G-9U465-BA (with the yellow O-Ring). I can get the center plunger out but that's it. The DV+ doesn't fit flush against the yellow O-Ring with just the plunger...
I found this video on utube and found it enlightening. I haven't seen it on the threads before but if it has been discussed already please indicate the link.
(couldn't figure out how to link the video into this page.)
It's from Tuned By Nishan/Speed Perf6rmanc3.
The theory is that...
So I've been trying to decide if I should upgrade to the NX2 turbo and reach for 400ish HP when I stumbled over the Port Injection Kits. I assumed these were only for pushing power above 400HP AFTER upgrading the turbo. But ... on the TunePlus webpage for the Port Injection kit it claims "up to...
I just got my car back after having both Recalls performed. Everything seems A-OK. There were no problems with either prior to the repairs so I'm relieved that there are no problems after the repairs. Yet. Hoping it stays that way.
Coincidently I also received my Ejection Seat notice last night...
I'm lost in downpipe land. Help. I've read that if I install a catted downpipe that I MUST also have a custom ECU tune. Without the custom tune the engine will run poorly, if at all, and will set tons of error codes (DTCs). But ... on the americanmuscle.com website they discuss downpipes and...
So I'm considering an upgrade to 2.5" cat back exhaust + 3" down pipe and I could use some guidance from those who own one. However... I have the ragtop with the associated rear chassis brace PLUS I have the Curt trailer hitch installed. Just to make things complicated enough. I also want as...
There was a new GT500 in the Dealer showroom this morning. I dropped in to pick up a few parts and on the way out I was greeted with the rear end of the GT500. So I actually touched it! Never thought I'd actually see one in person much less be able to touch one. I believe this one has the DCT...
I'd been using the Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner. It works OK but now that I have the off white seats (I think the color is called "Ceramic") it doesn't work so well on the pebbled surface. The Jay Leno's is VERY impressive. It cleaned out dirt that is as old as the car...
I just cleaned my top w/ Toby Meguiar's convertible top cleaner. Then I used Chemical Guy's Fabric Top Protectant.
The Chemical Guy's product may be a good product for UV protection and water repellency but its a pain to apply. I had to cover ALL of the plastic & rubber parts near the top from...
So I thought I could use the Tire Monitor gauge function in the dash to add air to my tires but it doesn't seem to work. I turned the ignition on, checked the tire pressures in the dash, and then added air. But the monitor didn't record any changes. I added more air but still didn't get any...
