It seems like 2019 GT350R is going around MSRP with low miles whereas 2020 is asking for a lot more over MSRP. I believe the only difference between two cars is the front knuckle where 2020 uses GT500's.
Does anyone know if this makes a noticeable impact on driving and if this impact is worth...
I have just noticed that the lines on my rotor discs have grooves that I can feel with my fingers. Both driver and passenger side has them. Fronts have more of them than rears but rears also have them. Car has 67,500 miles but before you react to miles, these are all street miles (50/50...
Well, it happened :( After leaving the car outside entire winter, the corrosion caught up with me and I now have paint bubbling on 3 different places on my hood (2 opposite corners above headlights and one dead center where the stripe is). I was so happy that my car didnt have the rust problem...
Hello forum,
I own a 2017 GT350 which currently has 67,000 miles.
I have had this problem with my front tires showing cords in inner sides since I purchased Signature Wheels which were in GT350R fitment. I got these wheels around 20,000 miles and now have had to replace the front tires after...
I’m going to be changing my front set of summer tires (when summer is here) again for the third time because insides wear out much quicker and get corded.
This issue happens only on the front tires never rear. It also only happens on summer tires which are 305s all around on a 350R offset...
Car is a 2017 GT350.
My blackstone oil reports have started showing varying degree of lead for the last 5 oil changes across 18,000 miles. It started at 5, went up to 23, down to 7, down to 2, and now back up at 5. At this point, I am a little confused as to where this lead might be coming...
Hello forum,
Are there any other oils that I can use in very cold winter months other than the very thick 15-50w? Here are some details about my situation:
- My car is at 65,000 miles out of warranty
- It is kept in Northeast, outdoors 24/7.
- I do have to start it in the mornings, sometimes...
After 64,000 miles, my GT350 started consuming a bit more oil. It has been fairly consistent up until this point requiring 1 qt every 1250 miles. It seems like now that has gone down to 750 miles. The only thing that changed is now the car is kept outside and cold starts when ambient is around...
Guys,
Any idea what this might be? It has been going on for quite a while. I tried lubing everything there with both WD-40 as well as red Mobil 1 grease but I could not fix the issue. Any help is appreciated.
What is the criteria as far as determining whether the engine mounts need to be replaced? Is there a mileage/potential symptoms to look for?
I ask for this because I am sensing more and more NVH from the engine especially high RPMs past 4000.
Mileage : 63,000. Original clutch and flywheel.
Whats the best lug nut solution that fits the socket properly and doesnt have the play and chances of getting stuck? One of these days i m going to have to drill these buggers out. Or should I keep buying oem ones and call it consumable?
I have been getting a squeaky noise going over bumps especially diagonally (i.e one rear wheel goes over slight bump then next) from passenger rear side.
I cannot reproduce the noise when I push down the lower trunk (when trunk is open) even at full force. I can jump the rear of the car...
Or not....
Most know me here but for those who dont, I own a 2017 GT350 with 62,500 miles (not a typo). Its my daily driver (which is driven more than half the time by my lovely wife whom I cant be thankful enough to support me with my abnormal habits). I put snow tires on in winter and drive...
I was watching a video of T.50/Gordon Murray and around 10:00 min mark he starts discussing why he did not use CF wheels. Its an interesting discussion. I respect him a great deal and consider him one of the true/proven engineers that has a unique history which distinguishes him from many other...
My car (at 62,000 miles) has developed a rear suspension noise that started around 55,000 miles which does not happen all the time (my guess is weather/humidity/temperature plays a role) where going over slight bumps (like speed bumps) at slow speeds makes a sound that best resembles the sound a...
Hello Forum,
After 59,000 miles, I think it's time for me to change the brake pads. The fronts are down to as much as backing plate whereas rears are a little more. I do have some questions with the procedure and the replacement pads:
- I have read various threads as to what the right way is...
My car left me stranded today where it would not start after leaving it parked on the side of the road with hazards on for about 30 min, I came to find out it would not start.
I hit start button, nothing no click. I get a neighbor to jump start, it starts and battery reads 13.7V then 14.4.
now...
