  1. JLT CAI withOUT a tune?

First off, do not drive it if it running 60% lean, you WILL blow your motor eventually. Your tuner needs to retune for the correct maf, if not it will never run right, I am pretty sure that is a 120mm maf and it must be corrected in the tune it has nothing to do with the grill or anything else.
  2. 2nd gen coyote vs 2011 GT500 and ZL1

If you make a jump I agree with MAGS1, go gen6 gt500, my last ride was an 18 SS 1LE and it handled like nothing I have ever driven, but after one year I traded it in on the mustang GT premium because it was so tight inside (uncomfortable) and there are some visibility issues as well, my helmet...
  3. Front Splitter Extension Canards with Air Channels

That is freakin hilarious, can’t believe someone actually did that 😂
  4. Front Splitter Extension Canards with Air Channels

I have the steeda min. drop springs (pro-action shocks and dampers, irs alignment and brace) the fronts are 200lbs, and I know that is too light for track duty, but I hit the drag strip more than I hit a track. I do not have the bump steer kit, the steering is solid up to around 55-65mph, just...
  5. Front Splitter Extension Canards with Air Channels

Yes I do track it just for fun, I do not compete. I guess my biggest gripe is the front end seems somewhat unstable (overly sensitive when turning or changing lanes at higher speeds), it just seems these would help by pushing the air from the front wheel wells away from the front tires creating...
  6. Front Splitter Extension Canards with Air Channels

Did you notice any difference at higher speeds? I did speak with one individual who said he could feel more front end stability over 70-75mph.
  7. Front Splitter Extension Canards with Air Channels

Who has installed outer front splitter extension canards with air channels that run up the front fender (ZL1 addons) on their mustang gt (similar to the gt500), and if so did you notice any difference with downforce and high speed stability? I have researched this in depth and based on many aero...
  8. Aero for Drag Racing and Occasional Track Day!

Thank you for your response, I have researched their packages, but APR is more in line with my budget for my needs.
  9. Service Advance Trac + ABS warning lights

Do you have lane assist? If lane assist is on, it will lock you out of most track apps.
  10. Drilled and slotted rotors

Exactly, not to mention I have been to scca events that do NOT allow drilled rotors on the track and it is due potential cracking.
  11. Performance Pack Worth It?

When I purchased my 22 GT Premium I wasn't really concerned about performance pack or not due to the fact I knew I would be replacing wheels, tires, suspension, etc, not saying PP cars aren't set up to perform better than a base, but if you plan to mod it anyway what's the point, you pay extra...
  12. Aero for Drag Racing and Occasional Track Day!

That is kind of what I had in mind, I already researched the APR adjustable splitter with rod supports, just not 100% sure about the rear wing as I want to keep it somewhat low and extend a couple inches past the deck lid, trying to keep it balanced as possible, but there is so little info out...
  13. Aero for Drag Racing and Occasional Track Day!

I would love to do race louvers, but for the 22 hood I would need to replace the whole hood (the 15-17's have some great louver inserts) which would destroy my budget.
  14. Aero for Drag Racing and Occasional Track Day!

I have a 22 GT Premium 10r80 that is my daily, I have already done a ton of suspension work: steeda springs, shocks, struts, camber plates, irs alignment and brace and now looking to improve aero. This is my daily and not a one trick pony, I enjoy about 4-6 visits to the drag strip and usually...
  15. What fills in the fender gap better?

Correct but 285/35r20 is taller than a 285/35r19.
  16. What fills in the fender gap better?

I have 20” wheels with 275/35r20’s with minimum drop springs (1/2”) and there is about a 1/4” gap at best. But if you have no interest in any drop, you will need 20” wheels as need4speed stated. And my profile pic is before the minimum drop springs.
  17. What do you think about tow hooks? Yay or Nay?

😂, every mod I have added is purely for improved performance, no unneeded weight wanted 😎
  18. What do you think about tow hooks? Yay or Nay?

Tow hooks are purely for track use, that is why you occasionally see them. I guess some put them on for looks.
  19. Is Wengerd performance or Lund tuning good ?

Please do a post after the tune, I currently have a steeda 93 and 114mm cai tune, but steeda does not do tunes for LTH's which I am planning on this year, so I am considering Wengard when I get the LT's. Thanks!
  20. I need a little guidance on a few more suspension upgrades

You are on the right track, I have the same spring, strut, camber plates and shocks, but the Steeda irs alignment and braces really tightened up the rear end. I have the strut tower brace (least improvement). Currently running 275/35r20’s ECS2’s, definitely looking at more rear traction with 295’s,
