I have the steeda x pipe on my 22 GT and it is perfect, not to raspy, but definitely wakes up the sound from stock. Normal driving conditions you are under the radar, and it actually picks up a measurable amount of hp and tq (Dyno proven).

I run the same oil and have never had issues, it seems to take the abuse and still maintains its integrity.

Your review is pretty spot on, I have owned all three and each has advantages and disadvantages over the others. I miss my 1LE for the go cart like handling and my 392 Charger for torque off the line, but the 5.0 is definitely a solid balance between both 👍

Steeda Stop the hop kit, at the very minimum the steeda irs braces and irs alignment. There is just way to much slop between the chasis and subframe for a hard launch on a drag strip, that slop almost put me in the wall last spring before I installed on my ride. Now it launches straight as an arrow!

I only run the FP filter on my 5.0, it has much more capacity than what is standard. The standard oil filters are very small for a 10qt capacity high performance motor.

Mine is smooth as silk now after my steeda tune, before the tune it was extremely jerky and shifted way to violent in track and drag mode. It was like night and day after the tune.

I am surprised no one on this thread is using Amsoil or Royal Purple. I started using Amsoil 5W-30 synthetic years ago and it seems to work great.

Thank you for the response, that is what I was hoping for because I really like the tune and it is a locked tune, so I would have to get a whole new tune if retune was necessary.

I would also be interested in any experience or answers to this question, mine is tuned with 114mm maf, so I would be surprised if adding 1 3/4" Kooks with high flow cats would even need a tune revision.
