I am less concerned with the sound than the performance, when I was debating between the two I found there has been several dyno tests between the two and the x pipe picks up measurably more hp/tq over the H pipe, that was my deciding factor.

I have done steeda minimum drop springs, pro-action shocks/dampers, strut tower brace, 2 point g-trac, but as others have mentioned the irs brace and alignment made the biggest difference in stabilizing the rear end giving you that planted feeling.

Thank you for the reply, that was the direction I was leaning. They did a rear gear and tune on my 01 GT back in the day and had no issues. I have heard about some negative experience’s with VMP.

It has been proven that steeda’s Xpipe make more hp and tq than the h pipe and still sounds pretty wicked, that was my 1st mode after wheels/tires 🤔

VMP is right off of 415 near SR 44 near New Smyrna, I am sure they can do cams. I most likely will be using them to do my long tube header install.
