  1. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

Starting to get a better feel for the car, worked on a later apex on Turns 5, 7, 10, 13, 15 and 16, car seemed to like it, about a second quicker.
  2. 3D Printed Oil Filler Funnel

Just did my second oil change, love the 3D printed funnel. Used a form a funnel and poked a hole in the filter, got most of the oil in the pan but some missed the funnel, hit the cross bar and under tray, but still mostly made it the pan, albeit with some cleanup. @pilotgore, if I’m not on the...

    Not required for Magneride.
  4. Lowering springs on a HP car.

  6. Sebring Lap Fun in Mach 1

That’s the A10 all by itself, don’t feel the down shifts, very smooth. .
  7. Sebring Lap Fun in Mach 1

Got the M1 out for the first time in HP configuration in perfect weather. Also made some improvements, Steeda 2 piece rotors, DTC70f/60r pads, dual rate springs. The car felt really planted with the cup2 rubber.
  8. M1 HP Removable Lower Splitter Task

    Stance….
  9. Mach 1 track attack 6/7, 6/8. Anyone going?

I signed up for 6/7-8 but my guest is wait listed at the moment.
  10. M1 HP Removable Lower Splitter Task

Not sure the car has totally settled but after one 30 mile local trip to bed the brake pads, there is about 4.25ā€ clearance to the lower splitter. The cornering and braking dive is greatly improved without compromising the normal ride quality.
  11. M1 HP Removable Lower Splitter Task

Yes, I did take it off to remove the broken plastic M5-20 screws and replaced all with M5-16 stainless button head screws. I chose aluminum rivet nuts since it’s a plastic base material and the nuts collapse easier. BTW, just installed the Steeda dual rate springs and they are sweeeet!
  12. M1 HP Removable Lower Splitter Task

I’ll be installing some dual rate springs in the near future, so I would like to run with the lower splitter on for track days, but take it off if I’m heading out for a road trip. The first step was lower splitter removal, a small burr bit on a drill to provide a center for a pointed air hammer...
  13. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

Yes, I see what you mean on the line, Nice! I’m not sure I would’ve given a point by to that 911 after getting an outside point by on 17 though!šŸ˜€
  14. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

I didn’t hear that specifically about the ZL1, that sucks. My turn in might be a holdover from the Cayman I drove for the last several years, I’ll have to try a later turn in next time. Got any videos?
  15. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

    I was in Track mode.
  16. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

I stayed with my 265F-285R/35-19 PS4S rain/street tire setup for this track day since the temps on the way over to the track were in the upper 20’s. The track surface was still pretty cold for our first session at 9:30 and the grip really never occurred but our second session at 11:00 had...
  17. Need a set of daily driver wheels for the Mach 1 I have on order. Wondering about offset for 19x10 wheels

Steeda’s 19x10 Trident wheels for the S550 indicate a +37 offset. Some others I notice are +35 offset.
  18. Sebring Track Day

I ran in track mode for all of the sessions on track, transmission shifting was really good, always in the correct gear exiting a corner.
  19. Sebring Track Day

10R80 Auto, which worked really nice.
  20. Sebring Track Day

No, the Chin event was sold out, we just put ourselves at the back of the queue for that session. Lots of cars seemed to be from out of state, PCA has their biggest event of the year in early FEB. Lots of GT3 RS’s.
