  1. Dealer ADM

Hi All, I have un-expectantly found myself fortunate enough to be in the market for a 2020 CFTP GT500 (bittersweet story for another day). For those that have taken the plunge, how have you handled the ADM situation, and what has been your outcome? At this point in time, ADM seems to be a...
  2. Wheel adapter seized

If I recall correctly, yes they are (they are tapered down opposite of the hex-end). Unlike the lug nuts, the adapter-to-hub nuts are considerably shorter and the female thread is open/exposed at both ends of the nut.
  3. Wheel adapter seized

What torque specs are recommended for the adapters you have?? The reason I ask is because the garage line brand adapters I got specified 80-85 ft/lbs adapter-to-hub and 80-85 ft/lbs wheel-to-adapter...I felt this was really low considering the factory wheel-to-hub specs are 150 ft/lbs (I...
  4. Wheel adapter seized

Seriously, thanks for the heads up. I have 1-inch hub-centric adapters (garage line brand, painted/coated black) on my 16 GT. I took them off about 2 weeks ago for a tire change and noticed a bit of rust on the hubs behind them. I have since re-installed the adapters...looks like I will get to...
  5. Weird rattle when starting EB?

My 2016 5.0 GT PP has been experiencing the exact same rattle symptoms as described by the OP. It has been to the dealer 3 times now with no luck in identifying the source of the rattle. It is very difficult to determine where it is coming from, as it mainly happens on first/cold startup and...
  6. Leaking clutch

As an update: I took the car into the dealer and they verified the master clutch cylinder was defective and replaced it under warranty. The repair was completed in two days. The dealer did a good job and took good care of me with a loaded loaner Fusion while the work was done. The ecoboost...
  7. Leaking clutch

Sooo it appears this exact issue decided to manifest itself on my 2016 GT PP over the past week. I have cleaned up the mess about 4 times and after a 10 mile drive for commute, this is the result: The car just hit 12,000 miles and took delivery in April this year. Off to the dealership it...

  10. After your P Zeroes wore out, what tire did you go to?

I am a big fan of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ I currently have a set of 275/40 R19's (my second set of them actually) on my 2011 GT and I will be getting a set for my 16 GT when the Pirellis are toast. The first set I had on the 2011 lasted 60,000 miles. Phenomenal tires - enough grip to...
  11. Order Placed for 2016 GT Premium

I am so late to post, but the car arrived March 26th. Took about 4.5 weeks from order to delivery :headbang: Since delivery I have installed the Steeda clutch assist spring (kickass mod!), along with a Ford Racing/Borla S-Type catback exhaust. I should add that this is technically my...

  15. BUILD WEEK 3/14 THREAD

We have a blend date of 3/14/16 as well. I got an update from my dealer yesterday evening saying that his system showed the car was in production and that it was currently in the body shop :headbang:
  16. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

What is your rim and tire setup/sizes and offsets? Those rims look great
  17. Self-Inflicted Damage

Last year, I managed to back my wife's Honda Accord into the passenger door of my 2011 GT, effectively trashing the passenger door of the Mustang and the rear fender/bumper of the Honda. I felt so proud of myself :frusty: How did this happen? I was preparing to sweep out the garage and...
  18. SC Ruby's Whipple Build

Car looks awesome, especially the stance. What size wheel spacers are you running? Also, what rim/tire setup are you running? Stock, staggered PP rim setup?

  20. Soo... I did a number on my car yesterday. Need advice

Hard to tell how badly damaged the front fender is...is the dent on the front fender able to be straightened up? If so, I think the cheapest option would be to keep an eye on ebay for a used door of the same color and replacing it yourself (may need a friend or two to help you get it aligned...
