I was wondering if anyone has the new drain valve UPR has made and what do you think of it?
My initial impressions are
1. I like that it is all one piece. no parts to lose (except the rubber plug)
2. If one o-ring was good on the stock plug and on UPR billet plugs, why does it now...
ok, this does not bode well for Mustang fans.
What level of stupidity do you need to have in order to be driving so poorly that you lose control and crash THROUGH someone’s home...
i am looking for an x pipe that results in a deeper sound with the stock exhaust?
I know an H pipe tend to do this but I also see variations to the sounds in H and X pipes.
I prefer to have the results found with an X pipe more than I want the sound of an H pipe.
Please post links to videos...
Curious if anyone has installed a side exhaust. Which one?
How is it?
Does it also have a rear outlet or is it strictly side?
Did any panels need painting or did they come painted?
got a video?
How does it do going over speed bumps? I have a PP2 so I am a1/2" lower than a regular GT...
Since I had problems with past cars fitting the old school band style filter wrench, I was forced to purchase a filter cup socket for that car.
I was wondering what tool do you use to remove and install the oil filter on your 2018+ Mustang GT?
Do you use a particular band wrench?
a self...
Someone recommended I order a set of TPMS sensors to be used with my new winter wheels.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013GU2VTI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was able to learn them into my car but all of them are reading 1-2 psi more than the actual value. The OEM...
With talk of a future s650 Mustang coming, let's have some fun. I find every car draws from other cars in some way or another.
If you were the designer, I would like to know what car or cars you would use as inspiration for a future Mustang.
Ok, let's just say that the past will be...
Should Ford make a true sports car for the masses?
I do not want this to be a discussion about whether the Mustang is or is not a sports car. I want this to be about the creation of a sports car that might even be a track car (classical definition of a sports car).
Should Ford be like Toyota...
I would like to know what you feel defines a Mustang. I look back when they attempted to make the Ford Probe become the next Mustang and the community got all up in arms and Ford changed their mind.
Now with electric threatening to replace ICE, I think we are poised on another drastic change...
I have a 2019 Mustang GT PP2 wiht a gen 3 Coyote V8. After 5.5 months, I have only driven 2500 miles. My last oil change was about 1100 miles. this was the car's first oil change. I pulled the dipstick out and did not see a reading on the stick. I decided to drain the oil and use an old 5...
I read about all these threads looking to put on bigger tires, larger rims, change the offset all in the name of how the car looks. No regard for what those changes do to the performance of the car.
If you could only have one, which is more important to you:
1. The way the car looks with a...
I was wondering if anyone makes a different reverse lockout actuator that is different from the stock, Steeda or Barton lever?
I am wondering if they just got rid of that top part that goes into the knob that is above the lever ring, you might be able to use any 12mm x 1.25 knob.
Something...
Are there any shift knobs for other cars that can be used on a S550 manual?
I think there are Volkswagon and Subaru who also use a 12 mm x 1.25 thread but, of course, they might not have a cutout for the Mustang reverse lockout.
Since purchasing a new set of tires, I have learned a lot about lug nuts that I wanted to pass on.
When it comes to lug nuts, the following are what you need to make sure work with your car
1. Thread - this is the diameter and pitch of the stud or bolt. Some are measured in SAE ( inches of...
Anyone install a leather shift knob in your 2015+ Mustang?
I would love to know the manufacturer and see some photos if you can.
Also, is it weighted or not?
Much appreciated?
What compound do you prefer your shift knob to be made of? Aluminum or resin?
Do you prefer the aluminum to be light or do you prefer some weight to it?
If you have a preference, post! Include your favorite knob as well if you like.
Tell us why this is your preference.
Thanks!
All,
After purchasing a set of aftermarket wheels, I received a bit of an education from a person at Gorilla. From my understanding, the S550 Mustang GT takes a M14 x 1.5 bulge conical lug nut. It uses a 21mm socket.
I went on to ask several questions asking for a variety of lugs nuts they...
was looking at the shifter knobs offered by Speed Dawg (https://www.speeddawg.com/)
Anyone use one?
What are your thoughts?
How is the weight?
Does it get cold in winter?
Thanks
