I have XForce headers and non Varex mufflers. 3” stainless, sounds awesome.

Just my thoughts from another thread :

Fords pipes align perfectly on the x, steeda’s do not. I’m not sure how that would alter sound, but it seems reasonable to me to expect a slight difference ?

I’ve no dog in the fight - I’ve opted for a steeda H :like:

We have a couple options to fit every scenario. We actually make an x pipe that is high quality and very affordable. Most x pipes on these cars are going to sound very similar however except for maybe Corsa's setup. Hit me up if you want to see what kind of setups we have available. We are having a Spring Sale by the way :) https://www.lethalperformance.com/info/springsale2020

I did just the Borla switchfire x-pipe last week. Very happy with sound and throttle response. Rest of exhaust was kept stock.

I highly doubt any xpipe will different than any other xpipe, unless it's resonated or multiple crossovers. You'll get more sound difference from cats/no cats and muffler changes.

I imagine the crossover distance will affect tone.
Also the amount of "X" it is changes tone some. Some are literally just a kiss-off between the banks, some are true X crossovers.

You're right. How about pipe diameter? Different alloys also have different resonance frequencies. Hell, clamps vs. welds could be a factor too.

...also, I think exhaust work on a Tuesday or under a full moon is exempt from drone :cwl:
All true except the Tuesdays under a full moon LOL

Increased pipe diameter universally will make exhaust tone deeper and louder. Stainless vs Titanium is also different. I'm not sure there's a very significant difference between aluminized steel vs stainless, though.
