I’ve never seen one of these with zero miles, actually I’ve never seen any car new with zero miles. Think they’re high to, but they’re probably not off by much with a little more time on the clock so to speak. Not sure I’d consider a handfull of cars a bunch though. For what it’s worth just did my Hag renewal and my stated coverage is around a buck and a half on my R, and they were the ones that suggested upping it on both. Premium didn’t change much. What’s ironic is the R’s being worth more then the supposed big brother Cftp 500. Thing is if you want one of these cars or the 500 there‘s not much out there that holds there values like these. Especially for the money we’re talking about. Next cars that are similar in holding value is the Gt3’s.

Was looking at auto trader, this place has a bunch of wrapper/low mile Rs. Wants a lot tho.

I’m feeling really smug about my GR287 right now…
These cars are incredible. I wouldn’t trade it for much, especially not in its price range… but that appears to be correcting! 😁

Yeah, there's no such thing as zero miles. I guess they can't be bothered to write the actual mileage. Definitely if you buy a GT350R and never drive it, the value will increase somewhat over time. The highest mileage GT350R I see on Cars.com has 33,000. Not much for a 11 year old vehicle, but at least it saw some use.

That place buys them on BaT and adds 10k + and just sits on them. Good for them but not for you.

whoever bought and sold that car should teach a class on how to lose money
In that case I think he should have held it longer. But, it's no different than stocks or real estate. Lord knows I've lost my share on stuff too but luckily I have had more winners than losers!

How about the class on how to make money to be able to make purchases like that? We all lose money on car purchases in one form or another. The other thing sooo many simply can’t comprehend is for some there time is worth more then the dollars spent.

Bingo. For some the few bucks here and there simply doesn’t matter to them.

That's very true, but in this case I bet the buyer fell victim to COVID induced mania. Not a good sign with respect to someone's common sense.

The seller either was tired of looking at it, needed the space or needed the money. If the first two are true, $134,000 invested in the market for 3 years will get him even.
