It's a new club that features Mustangs that go to Hallett. They are going to do an event once per year. They did a car show and a track day. Not a big turnout, but it was hot AF and I think I did more marketing for it than the actual organizer.

You could always come out this weekend! Another hot day (104 Saturday) but always fun. I'm hoping to make some Corvette owners 2nd guess their decisions when they point me by in my GTI.
Send me some info on this club - Unfortunately I can't this weekend. Got to plan around the Mrs. and the little one.

Watching your video, you're carrying a lot of speed into the corners - impressive!

Yes, I use E85, well......more like E77 based on my E sensor, on track. More power and less heat generation.

Make the short drive to Oklahoma sometime and get on track with me!

I can not say enough good things about the Potenza RE71RS tires. Granted, they are the only 200TW tire I have used, but they just get better and better with use. I had no issues with them getting greasy in the 100+F temps. I am at -3.5F and -2R camber with minimal to no toe and the wear is even. They have cool little triangles on the sidewall to let you know if you are rolling on the edge of the tire too much. I actually look at tirerack and discounttire almost daily to see when they will put the last stock of the RS on sale. Going to stock up. I use them on both of my track cars.

Yeah those little triangles are just to show where thr wear bars are at in the meat of the tread. Pretty sure every performance tire has them… maybe every tire? They have nothing to do with inflation pressures, aside from residing on the sidewall, in the general ballpark of where scrub marks may end. You arent the first person to think that, but its bad info.

Yes the RS is a great tire and looks like the RZ which replaces it is great too.

You're a brave man for even taking your car out there in this heat, let alone being able to set blazing lap times in it. My off-season in Texas is late May through mid October, heh.
