Used Gyeon iron remover and still needed to clay the stang to get rid of embedded dirt. Applied ceramic detail spray for a boost. Happy with results. Now it's ready.

Looks fantastic Bob. I have already been looking into getting that product myself after relooking at D’s post. Now I’m for surely gonna get it. I can’t wait to try it on the Eruption Green.

Thanks Demon. I'm very satisfied with Gyeon products. I switched from Zaino when I got this stang. Love that eruption green!

Water got into my car from the notorious windshield leak from weekend rain and knocked my car out of commission. I disconnected the wire looms in case they needed to dry out. Reconnected the wires today and no go still. As a secondary possible fix, I pulled fuses from the passenger side fuse box and none of the ones I checked were blown. Further reading says a new BCM will need to be flashed with Ford programming to connect to my car. BLAST! Off to the dealer it goes :explode:

Fixed the window issue by cleaning the plug and putting some grease.

After almost 3 years I finally am repairing the booboo at the front of my hood. The hood lost an argument with the garage door while the car was jacked up with the hood open. There was a bracket that gouged a shallow ditch into the hood.

I cut out a section of the clear film and stripe using the pictured tool set to a precise depth that won't quite cut through both layers. I taped a thin flexible steel ruler to the hood to use as a straight edge guide. Then with a little heat gun help I pulled out the section and it tore at the score lines. Whew!

Next I drive the car to the body shop to drop off the hood. They will fill/sand the ditch, but without paint. The remaining stripes/film acts the same as masking off the area. Then it's off to the clear film folks for new stripes and film.

In the off chance it was a simple fix like a blown or corroded fuse I replaced some in the possible spots using the passenger footwell BCM diagram @Skye provided to me. Thanks! Still dead. Dealer appointment is next Wednesday. BLAST!

Today I worked on the new transmission. It was painted and the drive shaft flange had overspray in the threads and so did the three transmission mount holes, so I ran a tap through them to clean things up. It will make assembly much easier. I am also making some risers for my tranny jack to help keep the transmission sitting square to the support plate. I saw it on a CJ Pony video while they were doing a new clutch. It looked like a good idea, and I have some aluminum stock on hand, so I am going to try it out.

Got a new windshield installed. Must of caught a rock Wednesday morning on my way to work. Came out in the afternoon to go home and had a crack starting in the corner and spread about 60% of the way across my windshield.

Last night after work, tried changing the alternator… different pulley size, different sensor and battery locations… needless to say the autozone 12878N (that they say work) is not the right one.

Guess I’ll just get an OEM.
