But keep in mind that even the high-performance Ecoboost package did not come with the large Brembo GT brakes; they’re not really necessary.
USDM High Performance Ecoboost got the same brake like the EU Ecoboost from factory.

I’d go to the hardware store, buy some glossy metal protective paint in the color you like (we use Hammerite here), and then just start painting. That works really well, and if—contrary to expectations—it doesn’t turn out right in the end, you can always go all in and bring them to a company.

I suppose it all comes down to being able to take the calipers off the car myself and re-fit them. But I am also bothered by the rusty appearance of my discs. Its like they need a skim or something.

BTW I am enlgish. I just lived in Canada for 10 years and itts where I got my car. So I know all about Hammerite hahahh. But thanks for the link. Iooks like I could get a set from there and then get them refurbished before putting them on.

The calipers on my EB are not brembo. They are Fordco. are they interchangeable?

I snapped a few casual pics this morning, while I was out, then when it was parked on the drive.

Front, R19 x 10, 285 x 40, ~1.5cm from arch to tread, @12 O'clock.

Rear R19 x 11, 295 x 40, less than 2cm arch to tread, @12 O'clock.

My speedo over reads a GPS I have, by 1 to 2 mph.
When the speedo indicates 70, GPS indicates 68.x

, perspective is distorting the first picture, I'd agree the car looks a bit strange, hence including the individual tyre pics.

I've worked at design studios in Hethel and South of Birmingham. Working with designers, I noticed very often they sketch cars with very low profile tyres simply because they think it looks better & I agree.

However, IME a higher side wall usually offers more compliance.

So to quote the old cliché...
