I did a free trial of Apple TV to let me watch until I can see if the free delayed races really happen.
I watched qualifying at 8:00AM EST and had no issues. There were a few commercials but I believe that was the same as ESPN.

Hello; I also wonder how the F1 CHANNEL will go this season. I went on the ROKU app last night and onto the F1 CHANNEL schedule. Fast forward to next Thurs, Fri & Sat but did not find a 2026 race scheduled. Will know in a few days.

I’m surprised anything still works on an 8, lol. (Sorry, bad joke, had to!)
Some stuff did and didn’t. However I just treated myself to a 16 Plus as it was one sale. Got it yesterday but waited for Amazon to deliver a case a screen protector today. This will take some getting used to.

Keep it. I’ve been happy with the coverage and extra content they have thus far. But I’ve always had Apple. It’s got good content. With all the dumb ass streaming you gotta have these days, I’ll easily say my Apple is by far my favorite bang for the buck. Lots of shows and movies I like.

Well that was………interesting. Congrats to George and Kimi. Solid race from MB. Ferrari finally got it together. P4 for my man Lewis, a promising start. But I kept thinking this race felt so artificial. It seemed the cars were racing but the drivers, not so much. But it’s only race one so hopefully things will improve.

I could’ve sworn at one point Max was one handing it. Mercedes and Ferarri aside, I don’t have much optimism for the rest of the season. Basically two teams on the lead lap. So much for the premiere level of racing.

Hello; I am now (5:10 PM EST) watching the 2026 Australian F2 feature race on the F1 Channel using my ROKU device. I have a question. The name Colton Herta is mentioned as a driver. Is this the same indy car driver??
If I read the schedule correctly the F1 race should start around 7:00 PM.

Hello; I understand. Thing is my Direct TV package no longer offers a channel showing the races in real time. I will be seeing the races five days late on the streaming platform F1 Channel. So last weekend's Australian race will be this evening for me. I do not intend to buy apple TV for only the F1 races.

Direct TV does offer to show Apple TV for an extra $12.99/month. I discovered such the last few days. My Direct TV box was programed the last few years to record all F1 shows.
I checked my recordings the other day and found the race listed as recorded. When I clicked on it just a message telling me not in my package.
So I get to be frustrated with the new rules a few days later that the rest of you and since I already have a ROKU essentially for free. Now i hope to find a way to record the shows.

But thanks for the message. I will see China next Friday.

Hello; Well the F1 channel worked just fine. In a way some bonus features I did not take advantage of before. such as F3, F2 and F1a (formula 1 academy) which appears to be a women's race.
Got to see the practice and a condensed version of qualifying.

There seemed to be decent racing in terms of following & passing. In the end though the top teams finished in order. I expect the order to change.

I would like to see the new car next to last year's version.

Yes, Herta has gone F2 to prove himself (unnecessarily in my view) that he deserves a place on the F1 grid.
