Ben Calimer Stage 4 MT-82

I bought the new Stage 4 MT-82 from Calimer Transmissions a few months ago and it’s finally going in.

Has anyone else bought this trans and installed it? Anything you do or don’t like about it?

How do you like it ? I have the stage 3 and I love it. What are the upgrades over the stage 3 ?

Put a stage 3 in before winter, still in the break-in miles but like it so far!

I just ordered the Calimer stage 2 MT 82 for my 2015 pp Mustang. Also, using a Mcleod RXT twin disc ceramic clutch with an aluminum flywheel.

The only thing I see that is different between the Stage 3 & 4 is the

• HD Billet Main Shaft

Outside of this, I believe they are pretty much the same, including the gearing.

How do you like it ? I have the stage 3 and I love it. What are the upgrades over the stage 3 ?

My car is front to back almost completely new underneath. I just got my break-in tune from Wengerd, and we are trying to start it on Sat. New motor, trans, clutch, fuel system, and turbo kit. Fingers crossed nothing breaks, and there aren't any leaks!!

Way too many mixed reviews out there for me to take the chance with a Calimer box.

Tentatively I plan to Tremec swap mine next year.

So far on initial break-in the transmission feels great, nice and solid shifts. I'll definitely update once I get some more miles on it and some actual drag strip time.
