I've always been a penzoil ultra platinum fan. I own a gen 2 and stick with the recommended 5w20 and a ford filter.
Come spring time my car will see some major changes and this thread has me reconsidering what weight to use. It'll be a Gen 2 TT daily driven car.
I live in Florida/Georgia so the car will be pretty hot at times. I'm thinking 5w30, maybe 5w40.
Also, has anyone noticed any differences in blowby or catch can amount by running a different viscosity?
