I will weight it end of the week when the paint is fully cured.
Did you get a chance to weigh the roll cage (rear supports, cage, and hardware). Watson says its 68#, that sounds like that number is way too high to me.

Shipping weight was 74# I believe.

Thanks

Any updates?

Yellow plastidip on the badging would be pretty slick. +1 vote
Yellow badging can also be accomplished by using precut vynil decals. I found someone on IG that makes them in just about any color. I asked him to make me some precut PPF for my badging and they came out great.

Sure no problem. I also scored on a brand new frpp rear seat delete on eBay for $320 shipped.

Car is a mess.
Take your time and be sure to locate the holes to drill very carefully. Brake lines and fuel lines below. Very little tolerance forward to rear (of the horizontal beam) to set the holes for support bars.

Another bit of advice, don't lean into the trunk and put your weight on the rear bumper. You don't want to induce sag.

Best of luck.

I am also going to take off the bumper to fix the existing gap.

Take good notes and pics. Let me know if it's worth it.

Was the listing misspelled or something, I didn't see it and couldn't find it in completed auctions. A friend of mine always searches for night vision equipment spelled wrong hoping to catch a deal. I ordered a LMR reinforced carpet kit for $400, it looks like a pretty good copy of the FRPP kit. Looking forward to see how your Watson install goes, thinking about getting one myself.

My experience is the roll bar goes in and out of the car a lot faster and easier if you pull the front seats. I hope this helps.

The seats were not much of an issue, the roll hoop went in and out without issue. The issue I had with my install was that there wasn't much play in the roll cage (main hoop) placement. The rear supports have to be drilled spot on and placed correctly (reference forward and aft of the beam) and there are no do overs. I used all play that was built into the main hoop bolt holes.

Despite these cars being built by robots, there is a bit of variations in tolerances and it may or may not affect the install.

I ran into the same... With the main hoop bolted in, my rear bar placement was about an inch off on the passenger side. (Driver side was spot on.)
So I loosened up the main hoop, bolted my rear bars into the main hoop and marked the drill holes.

I used the 3 piece rear seat delete instead of cutting up the stock 1 piece. (Mostly because I didn't want to unbolt the rear bars again.

That's exactly what I did. My caution to the op was how critical the rear support bolt hole locations are. I took my time and before doing anything permanent, I tripple checked it.
