This is very exciting indeed. I love the higher revvs, I'm redlining at 7500 with a JLT and e85 tune, the car feel good, very strong even passed 7k, but I know in a higher gear like 4th or 5th it will choke after 6.8k. Really want to see the results, this my shift my goals entirely

Would like to see what the numbers would be with adding the GT350 heads to your package. I see Ford racing parts by Don Wood has some really good prices.

Man, $3600 for the pair of heads, then you need the camshafts to go with it and rocker arm / lash adjusters. For the cost vs the anticipated gains, just go for a blower.

Fayetteville's dragstrip is open tomorrow 12-5pm, supposed to have good weather if you guys wanna go and make a few runs against each other. I'm planning on going to see how my car traps in the cooler air.

lol, yeah they still do it all. I got roasted by a G8 there this past summer. my first pass in my 5.0. I thought his car was 'mostly stock' so I was confident it was going to be a tight race and the dude ran 9.8 on me... straight savage

Lol nice! You never knew what was gonna show up at that event. I was running 11.7s in my evo and I paired up against a Vette...he blew my doors off...then i found out he was cammed and had a 150 shot

Yeah I havent been back since this past summer, track prep was junk and the wheel hop was so bad I swore the drivetrain was gonna fall out....So, ive sworn of the strip until I finish up the rear suspension, which will be done by the spring

Ha I know who you are talking about. There are plenty of fast G8's that run at Fayetteville. Nothing like a 9 second 4,000lb sedan.

I've been trying to get down there in my 15, but family priorities keep getting in the way.

Haha yea he's been there since I've been going which has been about 8 years. He talks so much shit, it's hilarious. There was a few hellcats and a bad ass turbo C5 Vette last time I went.

It's a tough track to run on for sure, I get a little hop too. I usually only run 2, maybe 3 times max. If you change your mind, I'll be out there.

I know this topic has gone a little off topic...

What Evo did you have? I remember seeing a gray one running a few times when I was there. I believe it was a 10.xx car.
