Hey guys!
I was just wondering if there would be any issues running the Ford Performance GT350 Cold Air Intake on a stock throttle body without a tune. I've tried searching the forums but couldn't really find anything.
Thanks in advance and happy holidays everyone!

A gt350 intake wont fit a stock gt throttle body. The tube is bigger for the larger throttle body. You'd have to upgrade the throttle body and get a tune or get the FP calibration pack with everything in it.

The issue is the GT350 MAF housing diameter difference vs. Coyote 5.0 MAF housing diameter and the required MAF transfer functions.
In short, without an ECU transfer function update the GT350 CAI will not work. The Throttle body is independent of the MAF sensor transfer function.
A good tuner should be able to tune for your 80mm TB with GT350 CAI provided you figure out a way to adapt the GT350 87mm TB coupler to the 5.0 80mm TB.

The clamp will tighten up on a stock GT 80mm TB but like was said the MAF housing is larger. I ran mine this way without a tune around the block and did not get any codes so the car might be able to compensate, but a tune is really required.

It was an accident I thought I flashed the tune but didn't.

Yes there would, car will not run. The post above goes into detail as to why, but the short of it is you need a tune to run it.
