Hell yeah, Kenne's are bad ass. Fools know you aren't playin' when you come steppin' with a Kenne.

KB's are living off of past laurels and high advertising dollar. Money is best spent elsewhere.
I'm not saying KB customer service is great, but the compressor technology is a market leader, and they are top notch in R&D and in house testing on their products.

What are you basing this on? In the past 10 years, KB has steadily been increasing compressor design/efficiency, added half a dozen new compressors, patented liquid cooling, and hold plenty of records in 1/4, 1/2, and 1 mile race events. Fastest standing mile supercharged s197 and s550 platforms both sport KB systems.

Our work with them on the s550 over the past year alone has been amazing. We have the highest hp supercharged GT on the planet.

Our street based systems are race proven and make a ton of power.

Not really interested in that sort of thing.. Just wondering why this was said. Vendor bashing for no good reason isn't something that should be going on here. We all help to keep this site up and running monetarily, and by developing/providing products for you guys. So, if there's something wrong with KB or our KB based systems, then I'd like to hear about it. No pissing is necessary. ;)

I actually have some questions regarding the KB vs. Whipple. Who are you using for your tuning? It seems Whipple has a pretty strong backing with Ford engineers developing their tuning software and I'm curious as to KB's capabilities? I'd love to see some comparisons to help increase my knowledge of Kenne Bell.

I agree with you on the bashing, but despite Kenne Bells top notch twin screw technology, they have had tech and customer service issue in the past. I know the have made changes and Mike from KB who was on here is one of there reaaly good guys. I would like to see them more active on the forums answering questions like other vendors. I asked the question below about Kenne Bells tuning ability compared to other vendors and got no answer here:shrug:

I'm interested in this question to. I asked it here before and got no answer:shrug:maybe Kenne bell or Boostworks can address it now.

I agree, and we've discussed thism just a few days ago. They're going to get more active online. Jim and Mike are great guys. They're just old school. ;)

Ken Christly is the in-house calibrator for Kenne Bell. He has decades of experience, and has designed a 50 state legal/CARB exempt kit for the 2015.

Travis is there any cutting or grinding with the KB kit? How involved is the install if a guy was doing it in his garage with a lift?

No cutting or grinding involved. It's very straight forward, and we have guys do installs in their driveways on jackstands. 7-8 hours is the norm with some general wrenching knowledge. The kits come with detailed instructions/pics. With us, you get 24/7 supoort as well.

Does that include changing of the fuel system too? (for the higher hp setup)

Sorry one more question - does the engine need to be lowered to clear the stock hood?
