Good-guy cop story:

I was driving home after class on a road with a speed limit of 35mph. Approaching me on the other side was an unmarked cop. I was traveling around 40mph when the cop used his instant-on radar to catch my speed. My radar detector started beeping really fast and that's when I knew it was a cop. As he passed me, I looked over at him and I saw him waving at me to slow down. No lights, no sirens, no tickets. He didn't even pull me over

I didn't know it was like this in other places. Here in California, 10mph over and cops don't even look at you. 15mph over you have there attention. 20mph over and that's a ticket.

Also, what radar detector and how do you like it?
