Quite a few 7.3's in the family between my uncle and cousins. They would just assume give you an organ before they gave you their trucks ha-ha.

My current car, 2011 Dodge Avenger V6. Bought it new 4 and a half years ago and is still going with 162,000 miles. Only needing brakes and the harmonic balancer took a crap, chewing up two serp belts in the process. AC is shot, but that's because I didn't maintain it, and the thermostat is stuck open..again, because I didn't replace it.

Otherwise..been a great car. My second highest mile car was my 99 Durango..only needing new tie-rod ends in 142,000 miles.

Family car service business retired a 2007 Lincoln Town Car L model at 423,000 miles. One relatively early tranny rebuild and a cracked intake replacement. Kept wating for the chains to go. Never used oil.

Kept it two years longer than should have due to financial considerations, but our vehicles are maintained monthly by certified mechanics due to the potential liability, common sense, and it's the right thing to do. 60,000-70,000 miles per year per car in good ole spread out Southeast Florida.

2008 Mustang GT was still running strong at 248k when someone ran a red-light and totaled it.

1996 Thunderbird - purchased with 170K sold with 265K - had a PI intake and cams, tune, 3.73 gears, etc. The only original anything on that car was the engine, but that 4.6 2v ran GREAT...it burned a ton of oil, and in the final 3 months I owned it - probably five thousand or more miles, I was topping off the oil with transmission fluid. It was running straight Valvoline Merc/Dex mix in the engine for that time period. It burned through the stuff quickly, smoked like crazy...but it refused to die. Yes, I know this was not a good idea, I was planning on either an engine swap or a new car, 4.6 2v was a bullet proof engine.

My 94' f150 had 310K on it when I traded it in on my 2000 Mustang GT.

That car currently has just over 178K, but I did a 4v swap on it. The 4v had about 80K on it.

My 90' GT has about 140K and the last 20K were with a vortech on 8 pounds of boost.

But growing up, my dad had an 89' econolne can that he finally junked at just under 800K miles (like 780K-ish). And it still ran, but the transmission was slipping.

Oh and I've got like 4700 on the S550 lol

145,000 on an '89 Toyota 4x4 truck. Still ran like it had 45K when I traded it in. It was in such good shape, a salesman at the dealership bought it from the dealer after trade-in.

My current 94 GT project car has 195k on it. My son bought it 10 years ago with 145k. It's time to do the engine but otherwise in great shape.

As for new cars, the most miles went on the 89 LX 5.0 that was my first Mustang in December, 1988. 135k in 7-1/2 years.
