I know the wait is killing you lol.

Took me 2 hours to install it by myself. It was easier than installing MBRP and corsa lines up perfectly. Black tips will look great but I wanted the shiny silver tips to poke out.

I didn't even start the car yet, will do it in the morning.
Haha, hell yeah it is man. I have the sports and I regret it. I feel like every other car on the road, but just a little bit louder :p. Need to get these xtremes installed already.

Got my bumper clipped in a parking lot!
That's just not right :frusty: Hopefully it's nothing major and can be repaired easily. As much as you've had happen in regards to your car you are bound to hit a very large streak of good luck (hopefully sooner than later)

I'm taking it to the body shop tomorrow, I want it fixed ASAP! It's not as bad as I feel about it.

Finally took it out and wow!! Corsa is loud under wot but very nimble during normal driving conditions. Most people make it sound like an angry pitbull barking at all time lol. It is absolutely perfect in sound. Gives the car that burble muscle sound.

Just for you bud.

That looks amazing. I'm so jealous of you Texans. I wish I could have gotten it installed by them. Half the jackass shops either wants $600 for install only or sell you their crappy vinyl.

Haha nice man I'm excited for you. Good idea on the chrome tips instead of black too. Looks good with that color car.

Can't wait!

Thanks dude, btw are you doing the install yourself? If so, make sure the tips are exactly the way you want before tightening the clamp. It's difficult to readjust the tips after clamping even if you completely loosen the clamps. It's almost like it welds the metal together - thats how tight it was and I had to fight just to get the corsa logo to be in the same angle as the other.

Can't wait to see pics once you get yours installed. :first:

Haha thanks man! I'm having a shop install them for me. They're pretty much going to look just like the sports from the back right? If so, this is how the sports looked after installation:

The guys at the shop had to do a little cutting and welding to get these things to fit on my vert. Feels like this is the 40th "not supported for convertible?!?! wtf?!" situation I've been in, but I really wanted these installed, lol. Haven't had any issues thus far though with scraping or anything like that.

Gonna hopefully be able to get out and make a comparison video this weekend and next weekend. Might even try to get out today before going visit the family.

All that just because it's a vert? Man you guys with the convertible have it rough. Every time I purchase something I always read the "will not fit convertibles" lol. It must be hard and annoying.

Yeah it should look very close to that, are those 4" tips? If they are then yup. I did the entire install in my garage on a ramp. The hardest part was to get the X pipe on, the pipe and clamps were literally on my face and chest lol.

Your car looks amazing man. I saw a very similar car like yours when I went down to New Orleans last week. I was there on a business trip, I saw the GT in front of my hotel (Hilton on St Charles). By the time I came out of the lobby, the driver took off. The doorman was like "damn, that sounds good, those mustangs are hot" - I looked at him and smiled lol.

Yup, lol. Something about underneath it that's so different and not compatible with anything. There's a 90% chance I'll probably be getting a coupe next time around, lol. Haven't let the top down as much as I thought I would too, although it's nice to have. I could probably settle with just rolling the windows down with the next car. Can't really enjoy speed too much either without feeling uncomfortable, and idk about an ugly roll bar.

Haha, thanks a lot man! Wish I could say that was me (trying to keep the spotlight out here before everyone out here starts modding their cars), but I was in China for work too, lol. I just dropped my ex off in the front at Walmart a few weeks ago and had a group of employees gather up to talk about my car. They told my ex it's the sickest new mustang they've seen thus far. Wish I had known that while I was still in the parking lot and not down the road, lol.

Thanks again man and I appreciate the pics!

Was a really nice day out here in MD, so before stuffing my face I put my new wheels on for the winter. Conti DWS06s on the MRR M350s gloss black with Steeda progressive springs. Love it. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
