YesI'll post some pics of the parts splayed out on my table, but they'll be awfully similar to what SamsGt already posted a few pages back, as I haven't tried installing yet. I'm planning on this weekend for the install. I'll be sure to record any major events and provide pics of the final product once it's up and running.
Did this unit also come with toggle switches? Here are some more photos of the flush-mount kit, pre-installation. http://imgur.com/a/wv133/all
Looking through the install details, it appears you remove the Sync module and leave it out. There's certainly no reference or point or label showing where it would be interfacing with any part of it.
I tried every possible setting option but none let me do this. There is almost nothing I can set..Hope the more expensive one would have a better system. There has to be another setting, under voice control.
The temp is off also. 23°. I assume that's C.
That is disappointing to hear. The loss of Sync is a "No go" for me.I tried every possible setting option but none let me do this. There is almost nothing I can set..Hope the more expensive one would have a better system.
I ordered the more-expensive one (not the one that was also on Ebay.)
Me too. I hope my unit doesn't have these issues.Damm no sync and chinese symbols on the screen ruin it for me
That video was probably showing off the prototype of the system you have. If I recall back when it first got posted on youtube people asked about the price and specs. The price was $965 if I remember correctly.Still planning on it for tomorrow, bright and early. ;)
Just noticed one thing, the icons in the photos from the product listing seem to match up with that video Zackmd1 posted a few months back in this thread, here (specifically, look at that left icon on the group of three icons at the bottom of the screen, and the icons for the climate control screen)
If that's the case, then Sync should be preserved, as it appears to be in the video. Unfortunately, it appears that fahrenheit temperature and MPH reading may not be supported, unless it's somehow reading the metrics setting controlled through the display between your dials.
