I noticed you were in Charlotte. Do you have exhaust yet? Or deciding which route to go? Reason I am asking is I am in Gastonia, and if you wanted to hear what the Stainless Works h-pipe setup sounds like in person, shoot me a PM and we can meet up.

Thanks a lot ! I purchased a Res-delete X-pipe from CJ's earlier today. For my budget right now, I think it's gonna work out pretty well. Then when I can afford a more complete set up, I can just work from the axle back.

H Pipe, love mine with stock mufflers. Sounds amazing, like it should have sounded from the factory.

So all you have is the H-pipe installed to take the place of the stock ford resonator? No other exhaust mods?
My question is not about how well it sounds (I've heard some exterior sound clips)
My main concern is DRONE and with the removal of the resonator how much if any drone is experienced at the dreaded drone rpm's 2000-2200ish.

1.It sounds good and is great if you want just a bit more volume while retaining stealth on command. The H-pipe with the factory mufflers sounds only a notch louder than stock. There is a greater presence at idle as well. Unfortunately, there is rasp with this set-up at the very high RPM range. It is otherwise a deep, quiet tone. I had this setup made from scratch and welded in for under $100 at a muffler shop.
2. There is no drone at all with the H-pipe and factory mufflers.

Hard to hear? I thought I adjusted the levels perfectly lol. Has some rasp when revving, but it sounds nice and aggressive at WOT

Not at all. Still very comfortable to drive.
