This is true, but it's not a problem for most people. I for one know I don't go anywhere that has no cell service.Your phone's Nav won't help in the middle of nowhere with no service.

You should look at one of the phone mount threads here. Most of us use the scosche magic magnet mount and it's amazing.One of the main reasons I wanted NAV in the car is because I hate the way all the mounts look in the car. It's just out of place and ruins the interior to me. Phones are better but I still like the big screen and not using my phone draining the battery on it, since I also dislike having a charging cord strung across the car.
I listen to Spotify and use Waze at the same time. They work seamlessly together. It will lower the volume on the music when it's giving you directions.If you listen to music that's on your phone, the phone NAV option becomes a pain in the ass with either no instructions or interruptions.
