Check into it thoroughly, Don't let some DMV clerk tell you you have to pay Taxes and the GGT when you may not have to. Can't say for sure but I think that MAS Like the PX/BX is considered Dutyfree. Hopefully someone who bought a vehicle through MAS and had it delivered stateside will chime in.
Sorry, there is no allocations for the GT350R through MAS. The lottery for the 28 Allocations of the 2016 GT350's ended on 3 AUGUST, It was supposed to end on 28 August but was changed to the 3rd. I know of three others besides me that ordered theirs through MAS And are now waiting for them to be built.
It was more likely Ford that restricted it to just the regular 350's, because I know for the Hellcats, they only had four allocations total, one Charger and three Challengers. The dealers work with the PX/BX for the program, but MAS doesn't really have any leverage that I know of to pressure on specialty models.
I am pretty close with my rep, and him and a few of the people in the main office were trying to get me locked in for the fall sometime, but they said that the earliest date that the factory said they could do for delivery is the third week of March next year.
Thank you for the quick response. I was hoping you wouldn't say that, it seems I have no choice but to wait. But I do agree with you, I am extremely grateful that I will get a car period and even more so, no ADM. The issue I have is coming back from my deployment and going on my next mission with no car :doh:
