What I'm saying is you mentioned CAPITALISM,:doh: This is the entire basis for everyone's argument! Do you think if Tesla had normal stores that could set their own prices anyone would buy a car from a factory store for more money? Unless I am mis-reading your post this is what you are implying?

I'd like to know how states blocking the sales model that tesla wants to use, regardless of its effectiveness, is capitalism, because by definition it is the opposite.
And yes I do think people would pay more for a hassle free experience from a factory store, the same way people pay money to have their clothes dry cleaned instead of doing it themselves, people will pay more for convenience. Will everybody? Absolutely not, but a lot of folks would.
