200lbs lighter with close to a 50/50 weight ratio. Never hear people brag about that or the fact you can average close to 30mpg if you baby the ecoboost. Also being dead quiet bone stock is a bonus to me.This is a heavy car for the 4 cylinder when you think about it. I'm not surprised there are issues with the EB engine.
It's partially this. People put a lot of hard thought and research into it based on their financial situation, preferences and goals before they even buy/order the car and they end up making the smart decision. Then after a few months of being sucked into the modding world and reading the forum they start wanting more and more power and feeling like they should have gotten the GT. Then they make stupid decisions where they lose like $6K after posting a predictable thread like this one so ppl can tell them to do it. My favorite ones are the ones who were bullied into it.The problem is people having unrealistic expectations as far as performance.
No, it isn't. If an engine can pull the weight, it does not matter how many 'cylinders' it has. Last time I checked (or just drove mine), that inline 4 *gasp* more than pulls the weight of the car and feels great doing so.This is a heavy car for the 4 cylinder when you think about it.
Oh yea, sometimes people leave the wonders of the V-8 for other Mustangs. You claim no one ever goes back...I've had 9 Mustangs all with V-8s. But I gave up a 2013 beautiful Race Red GT vert with Red Line Leather to get the 6G body and IRS. Chose the Cyclone V-6 because it was a great buy and damned-near bulletproof. Buy what you need...all of these engine choices have their pluses.:clap2:Remember once you go V8 you'll never go back. If I had a choice get a new eco boost for 10K off the lot or pay 32K for a new GT, I would buy the eco boost sell it then use the money to get a new GT lol. Bet you didn't see that coming.
