I say no. If it is just because of the sound of a V* then make an MP3 of it and drive around with the radio up. I think one should have more reasons than sound.

I special ordered a DIB 16, and cancelled my order and got my black 15.

Well, they ordered the DIB anyway, and it's still sitting on the lot. 9 months later.
That's a shame. I love my DIB now. When I was first shopping for a GT last fall, I was ONLY considering black, red, yellow and orange. I stumbled upon my car while looking at used Mustangs and originally ignored it the first time around. After coming back to it a couple times though, the color started to grow on me and I liked how classy it looked with the saddle interior. What pushed me over the threshold was the fact that I could get it for almost $8k under the original MSRP because it had 6k miles on it. Now, with all the compliments I get from people saying how much they love the color, I'm sure I made the right decision. Perhaps blue cars are just naturally more popular here in North Carolina for some reason. ;)

Guard TANKED in the Midwest, buddy that owns a dealership said he couldn't give those cars away out there. Same with DIB out here. I special ordered a DIB 16, and cancelled my order and got my black 15.

Get the GT op. If you gotta ask you already know the answer
what dealer has this DIB and is it a stick? I mean if they are still sitting on it do you think they will give a Koons level discount:ninja: Atlanta is much closer to me than Baltimore lol.

Just found out I'm pre-approved for $40k from my bank... not that I would spend that much but this is a very strong factor in my decision!

Get long tube headers for the 5.0 you're going to get and try dropping weight here and there (remove rear seats if you never use them, aluminum DS, lighter wheels) and have FUN. Get the PP too.
Lol talking about this stuff gets me excited, hard to beat these cars for the price and aftermarket.

Would probably buy an auto because the MT82 really disappoints me.

Yea, Ford fucked up by using that same transmission again!

Try out a 5.0 with an MGW at a local meet, maybe it'll change your mind.

You think that would actually solve the problem to a good enough degree? I am not opposed to it but I have MT82 nightmares from my first v6 mustang with the MT82 that ground every 1-2 shift.
