Do you have an auto?My base GT with no modes does exactly this. The down shifts are very abrupt. Don't want to call them violent, but you definitely notice them. I just figured it was a Ford thing.
Got my Lund tune installed yesterday on my roush supercharged premium 6sp. I had a local ford dealer install my tune because they needed to flash my car to stock before I could get the Lund tune to load. One of our forum members boosted4life installed the tune for me. I previously reported that he thought the car shuddered at full throttle with the pedal max installed so we disconnected it. I drove it that way for a day but I was experiencing the same feeling as before that the peddle input was just not quick enough in my opinion so I decided to hook the pedal max back up to see how much it shuddered and to my surprise I've driven the car around all day and no shuddering at all. I think it's perfect so far I've expiercenced no issues at all with the tune and peddle max.
The combo of the blower, Lund tune and pedal max make for a really fun street car. My car finally feels like what I thought it would when I decided to purchase the blower. It's a torque monster with instant throttle response that pulls like a train till over 7k. That's what I was after.
Very nice congratulations! Hoping for the same outcome with my Whipple SC and tune
1.) Definitely. Two questions for those that have one installed (preferably on a premium GT PP):
1) Does it make the car "feel" more powerful under 3,000 RPMs? The stock GT seems like it makes no power under 3,000--even with the PP gearing--and I was wondering if the increased throttle response would help with that. I know the car isn't a torque monster in that RMP range, but it certainly feels like it has less power than it does in that range at times.
2) Can you see it once it is installed? I would get it without the additional dial. Ideally, I would like something that can be installed and not seen.
Basically this.1.) Definitely.
2.) Nope. In fact you better secure it well because if you do see it, that means it's hanging near your accelerator pedal and you probably don't want that.
Any tips on where to mount / zip tie the unit?1.) Definitely.

Room yes, but there isn't a lot of options. I have mines ziptied to some harness to the right of the accelerator pedal but i'm not sure if i like it there. Not sure where else to zip tie it.Any tips on where to mount / zip tie the unit?
Just ordered and havent climbed under the accelerator yet to look. I imagine there is a whole lot of room or options on where to zip tie it.
I zip-tied mine in two places: I secured the module to a wire bundle under the dash, and the connectors to the throttle assembly wire.Room yes, but there isn't a lot of options.
