Still land yachts that Dodge continues to ignore while they jam the Hellcat engine in everything with wheels wasting more money.

Embarrassing 2015 challengers still have a Mercedes frame but hey its the dodge way. Keep everyone distracted with pretty burnouts and making people think straight line is all that matters. Exactly why Tim Hillard smashed a Hellcat on a road course the other day and yes there's video proof. All that power but shit handling and it's obesity make it a one trick pony like EVERY Challenger.

Why is "jamming the hellcat engine in everything" a waste of money? Clearly the hellcat was a huge success, for dodge never anticipated anywhere close to the amount of orders they received.

And why is having a larger coupe built for straight line speed such a bad thing? Do your friends enjoy having their legs crushed in the back seat?

Different market man. Many of the things you critique the challenger on are reasons that others bought the car.

(Straight line speed, size, comfort, etc.)

Oh and that's a Stock 300A GT with an X pipe.....

Who was driving the hellcat? Joe schmoe? Could video but idk how much it's worth.

Im not really arguing that the hellcat is made for the track though lol. Although I do have a guy in our club who takes his on the track pretty frequently.

Actually he quite enjoyed things like this. It was how some people just come on this forum to spew garbage and stir the pot when they don't even have a Mustang but yet they can say what they want with no recourse and then he would call them out for what they were and he was silenced. He was fed up with being smacked for pointing out the truth.

I seem to always get comments from the oblivious strangers. What really gets on my nerves is the the way their attitude does a 180 when I tell them that I have an EB and explain 4 cylinder. This is pretty much how almost all conversations have gone.

Them: Wow, that is a really nice looking car! Is that a Mustang?!?!?!?
Inside my head: I'm not sure why you just asked that, there's a pony on the darn thing!
Me: Yes
Them: V6 or V8
Me: Neither, its the EcoBoost.
Them: ???
Me: 4 cylinder turbo
Them: ???? (Still confused for a second) Why would you get a 4 cylinder Mustang? Isn't that slow?
Me: It has more power and torque than the V6.
Now comes the comment that makes me want to punch them...
Them: You should have got the V8.

My personal favorite is my brother-in-law. He has a 93 Mustang GT and is completely convinced that his 5.0 is in every way superior and faster. You know, because its a V8 so it must be way better.
Dude, your 5.0 (excuse me, 4.9) has like 210 HP tops....:lol:

I swear, I have had this same conversation. I went to a detail shop near me and the two guys were checking it out. The inevitable question about engine size comes. Once I explained how much hp it had, the one guys eyes about bulged out his head along with the phrase " out of a 4 cylinder!!" Then I took him for a quick ride. It didn't take long for the smile and shaking of his head to start. He just kept saying, " I can't believe this is a 4 cylinder.." over and over. Poor bastard would probably shit himself if he rode with some of you guys who have really modded up your EB's.

Some people just don't understand what a turbocharger does. Go on YouTube and you can find some modified EBs putting out 500+ HP.

I've never rode in a car that has turbo lag, but I'm really looking forward to doing a big turbo EB. Wow this car is slow...wait, what's happening...holy shit. I love boost.
