Is anyone of the forum still unable to order their 350? My dealers has tried to get info everyday about their allocations as well as when they can order my car. If you have been unable to order or know the reason why please leave a comment. Thanks.

I guess I could order, but the whole "refusing to pay ADM" thing makes the whole process a bit craftier than usual.

Putting ADM aside. I was talking about the dealership being unable to place the order. IDK if any of the members on here that work for a dealership know anything about it. But yes paying an ADM would deter me as well from putting an order in.

I know a dealer out in the Midwest and according to them, they can place the order, of which I have witnessed, but the confirmation that Ford has received and will produce has not come through yet.

This may be due to cascade effect... Regional Ford reps may be staggered in when their orders can be accepted for production, ie, Southwest rep may get higher priority vs Northwest. Or, it could be an issue of trying to get the orders from high-volume Mustang sales leaders first and then everyone else second.

It's still mythology amongst us lower individual's right now.

Just gives you more time to save up and pay it off.

Thank you. I had heard about this from somewhere but did not know if it was true. If thats the case I wonder when my region will be able to order with production starting up so soon. I just want to lock in the order as soon as possible already!!! As far as saving up, I wouldn't be purchasing the car if I couldn't pay it off when it comes in but it is still a good point. Thank you again.

My dealer in Houston says he can't order yet. They're waiting for the regional sales rep to release his allocation.

My car is ordered. I have a DORA, but as of last Thursday 7/23 it still shows "Material Hold". I guess this is why patience is a virtue. LOL

Your dealer can put an order in right now. Just like me, I have an order in for my dealers first allocation, he just does not have an allocation yet. So without an allocation, it cannot be picked up for a build slot......Steve

I knew a, "Dancer" named Patience once. She was not virtuous. But, as orderwise I am in the same boat as you I will try to be patient.

The dealer I'm going through has 1 allocation. Although he could put the order into the system it doesn't matter right now because his allocation hasn't been released for pickup by the regional rep and was told it wouldn't be until Q4.

So he has me down and will place the order when he knows it will actually go through. I check in with him every couple weeks to make sure he doesn't forget me lol

Does anyone know more about this "Material Hold"? I've got 2 dealers with cars on order with Material holds. One of them might not even have an allocation to sleek of. Does anyone think this will show Ford there is an interest in more cars, so more allocations to follow the increased interest? That's the way I'm seeing it, they're just feeling it out to get a gauge on production. Once there is a good indication there will be another release of allocations.

My car is also on material hold, but I know its a valid order and confirmed allocation. I put the order in with a smaller dealer with the owner himself. He later sent me a snap shot of his region rep confirming the order via email. So if they dealer paid the $1000 to enter the program, they should at least have 1 allocation for 2016 and 1 for 2017

It's on material hold because its not yet ready to be built, per my dealers input after talking to his regional rep. So basically its an order, but it has yet to be formally processed by the factory. Once they process it (said sept time frame), then the dealer actually purchases the car from ford, VIN is assigned, and it gets scheduled for build
