I don't understand the question. Wider wheels get more performance out of a given tire size. 10in wide @ 40mm offset, square, is awesome. 275 on a 10" will handle better than a 275 on a 9 or 9.5. Personally I'd run 285s.

This /\ ..........(fixed a little error).

Plus there are a few more tire options in 275 plus options taller than 27". 285/35/19 is popular but can be a little too short especially for those guys running 3.73 gears.

I was asking American Muscle this yesterday when ordering my AMR wheels. Winded up with the 8.5 fronts and the 10" rears

Were you struggling with oversteer? Or just wanted the beefy look?

just figured if I could run the 20x10s all the way around with the same tire then I Could rotate the tires evenly

Right....but then you got the staggered setup. I was asking what motivated the switch.

They told me the 20x10's on the front "can" be done if I wanted to roll the fenders for dips, and I believe modify some suspension stuff. At least on the particular wheel I ordered (AMR), with the way the backspacing is or something a long those lines

That is not correct. Tons of people have 10" wide wheels with no rolling fender, no suspension mods, etc. offset is the key.

Yes, thats why I was inquiring with them about putting the 20x10's on the front, because plenty of people have them. I guess its the offset of the AMR wheel in particular in 20x10 that did not allow for it. No clue

They should be able to tell you what the offset is on that wheel.

My WORK wheels are +38 on the front with a 20x10 setup.

I went 275 on the 10" as well. I wanted 285, but it's almost impossible to find a 19" tire in 285 with a high enough profile.

After these wear, I'll be going 285/325 though.
