Is anyone having problems with flashing a Lund over roushes tune or turning back to stock? How do you fix this? I tried using the ids and doing a pmi for the pcm but it doesn't even show up. It's like roush completely locked us out of it? I don't have the warranty so I don't see why they need to do that. If anyone knows a solution and help would be appreciated! I am trying to install new injectors as well. Thanks. Btw I did search before posting this, but did not find a straight answer.

Check Lund tune for tvs blower thread in the forced induction section. Good luck and please let me know if you find a solution.

If you have a roush (or whipple) tune where you sent the computer off to be recalibrated, you cannot use an sct to do a custom tune. Lund may be able to use n gauge though I'm unsure.

In order to use a sct, you will have to go to a dealer and have your computer flashed back to the factory strategy that came with your car.

As a side note, people, do your research before you go making decisions and allowing people to mod your computers. Plan your mods and then tune accordingly. This is not secret information.

I don't see how the Lund gauge would be able to flash over it if I can't even use fords computer system to even reprogram the factory calibration. I work at the dealer so that is not a option.

Like you said Lund MAY be able to use an ngauge but you are not sure. I am waiting to see if someone is able to use the ngauge as a solution but until I actually see someone do it I'm skeptical. Boosted4 life is a ford tech using their equipment and cannot flash it back so I would be surprised if the ngauge worked. You have to remember it was also assumed the sct x4 would work until it didn't. As far as planning my mods the plan was to dyno the roush setup then put the Lund tune on and re dyno. I thought that would be some very informative info for the forum.

I'm ok with it. It's a new platform it will get sorted out. It's not like I it sucks driving around a 630 hp stang as a consolation prize:cheers:

You can use the IDS you have to go through the "back door" so to speak and enter as built info.. The down side to that is you will loose your roush tune unless you still have the voucher . PMI won't work

As built does not have an option for pcm. I've tried it.

Hmmm... Ok I have downloaded the roush software and loaded one off their tunes after I installed a kit... I'll look in the software for some sort off PCM access also I would call them.. U can speak to the tech the writes the files ... The software is free to download .. It looks similar to IDS

You cannot speak to the person that writes the files, you can only talk to someone that request the files. Very complicated.

Ids is the best way to flash back to stock but you must do via manual mode as it will not recognize the cal.

Many have a misunderstanding of he Roush, FRPP and Whipple cals. They are encrypted to protect the intellectual property. To do a custom cal you will need to put back to stock. For our customers, we do this. For others, you must use a stock IDS tool in manual mode to put back to stock. If you try to flash over the cal, it will limit the throttle to 25%.

So basically when I hook up the ids and it reconizes the vin I click no instead of yes? I'm not quite sure how to go around that?

So if I were to buy a supercharger from you I can send my PCM to you and you would return it back to stock before you add your tune ? The reason I ask is because I don't have my stock file anymore ( don't ask :( ) I just have a custom tune in my PCM and no stock file to put it back to stock with .. Or would I have to take it to the dealer and use the IDS tool to put my stock file back in before I sent you the PCM ?
