As said above there are a lot of factors. And since you're using the Whipple tune I wouldn't be worried about it at all, I installed my Whipple Gen 2 at 600 miles and currently have 45,000 miles. It is my daily and take it to the track at least once a month. The only piece of mind for me was...
Yall guys that was swapped to the 6r80. Have you been able to activate the remote start by buying a remote start key and enabling it? Didn't know if there were other parts I would need for it to work.
If I use a base auto then my performance pack center gauges won't work, and since there is not a performance pack auto base, I used the 50th anniversary that was the closest.
Anyone know what to change for the side traffic mirrors? I did an auto swap and used a premium pack as built but I have a base pp and I'm getting an error message for the side mirrors.
Okay I have a few questions for the guys that went through this. I just did the swap. I'm using a 50 anniversary auto for as built and I have everything working but now my cluster is showing mirror cross traffic error. I have a base performance pack mustang and I assume the auto Vin I'm using is...
Probably not all that difficult if your mechanically inclined. I just swapped mine to auto and have all the parts you would need. I spent about 2800 total and did everything myself including the programming. If I had a stock car like yours I would try and find one in a manual, but like you said...
Were you able to get the remote start feature to work now? Also when using the as built for the pcm how did you apply the ivd for the transmission module? And when programming the other modules like abs, bcm, rcm and such are you using the same as built for the auto or just using your own Vin...
So will any auto as built data work or does a certain one have to replace the manual data? Thanks for the above glad I don't have to buy another cluster or master cylinder.
Where in the hell are you all taking yours in to have the recalls done? I do them daily and have no issues with them. I'm sorry yall are having bad luck with dealerships, but they are not that hard to do and only take about an hour at most.
