I finally got around to opening all the presents I bought myself over the past few months to make heads or tails of what I've got myself into lol.

As you can see I've got my work cut out for me. The only parts I'm still waiting for (and everyone else I'm sure) are my FFRP 1/2 shafts.

I was wondering if anyone has any pointers they may have learned while installing any of these parts.

These are all Steeda parts except the Viking shocks. I bought the BMR CB005 and Polly diff bushing kit but have decided to go with Steeda so if anyone is interested I will be listing these for sale soon in the market place.

I had all my Steeda goodies installed by Steeda. The only thing I can offer is just take your time and don't force something:).

Good luck. Can't wait to hear your feedback.

I will definitely be getting that brace lol. I was more interested in getting all the pieces needed to get in there once and only once. The K brace can be added at any time.

I'm more looking for insight as where to start in the rear. I'm assuming the cradle centering pins and springs then install everything else reassembling the car?

Is that your final answer lol? I think there will be a few more beers in my final draft (pun intended).

I would be interested if you install one item (i.e. springs) at a time, and then give the car a drive. This will give an insight as to the effectivness of the parts. I know it is a bit of a hastle, but might be worth it for your sake, and all the viewers. Lots of installs include many things, and they can't tell what made the difference.
Can also save some money to potential customers, if something has no benefit upon install.

Cheers,

Ken

Is there any reason why you decided to stick with Steeda instead of BMR?

After you have finished with all of those Steeda goodies and had a few hours to sober up and you have cleaned yourself up after your tasks have settled in you will need to take a ride to get a wheel alignment .

Honestly, mostly my past experience with Steeda and my love of their products.

But..... I have decided not to install the Polly diff bushings because I know they will add NVH and I am doing everything in my power NOT to allow NVH this go around. Steeda's inserts are not permanent and supposedly will not add NVH

The CB005 seems to be pure genius and will be a home run for Kelly and BMR but I don't think it will offer me anything the Steeda braces and bushing support kit won't so I'm just staying with all Steeda parts.

Kelly from BMR is amazing and I will continue to do business with him in the future. He helped me decide on my Viking shocks and I bought from him. I will be calling him back when the front Viking struts are released. I'm actually thinking of just sending them back for a refund as they are new and unopened.

Oh man, you got a lot of goodies there! You are going to be SO happy! The only advice I would offer is don't neglect the beer. No seriously, there were a few things that just went very well if you did them all together. I think it was the alignment kit, subframe and differential bushings. Other than that, keep in mind it's suspension work and you'll have to muscle some stuff. I can't wait to hear your reaction!

Jmeo - I would seriously consider the CB005. I think you'll find from the comments here that the BMR solution is much easier to install and offers the benefit of centering your rear sub-frame. Performance-wise I think it will also be more effective.

My $.02.

Jmeo, CJ Pony Parts installed all of those Steeda parts on my car last week for their installation video library. If you want to wait, I am sure they are going to publish the videos on YouTube over the next week or so. The videos will be extremely helpful to anyone who is looking to DIY.
