Quick update, I actually landed myself a set of lightly used Steeda Progressive springs and PP shocks/struts, and strut mounts. $200 for the lot, can't beat that! I'm also going to pick up a PP rear sway bar; they're only about $40 and don't feel like investing hundreds in a performance sway bar kit yet.

There are two other suspension components I'm considering and could use some advise as to which to get now, before the car is aligned.

-BMR CB005 kit - considering because everyone gives the kit rave reviews and a lot of people say its one of the best mods they've done. Is this something I'll notice when driving around normally or more just for spirited drives? Does an alignment have to be done after the install?

-Steeda rear shock mounts - considering to reduce the bounce in the rear end. Can i install these without needed in alignment?

Thanks!!

Can these be installed later on without effecting the alignment? And will I notice a difference with either driving normally or are they noticeable mostly during spirited driving? I don't race, do burnouts, or drive the car hard much at all.

Thanks!!
There is a decent chance the CB005 install will require you to get an alignment, as most people's cradles are not centered well. I would do all of it at the same time, but the only thing that won't require an alignment is the shock mounts.

FYI you need the PP sway bar bushings for the bar too. The brackets can be reused.

Awesome, thanks! I'll probably install the CB005 at the same time as the suspension, wait a week and align it. I'll drive it for a while and see if I'm happy with the ride or if its worth adding the Steeda mounts.

Thanks for the reminder about the bushings!

If the mounts are in the budget you won't be disappointed in the results. The only reason to wait to install would be so you can feel the effects by themselves. The CB005 takes care of wheel hop, but more importantly for me at least, stabilizes the IRS and gives you so much more confidence to put power down. The rear doesn't wiggle around strangely once that's installed.
