I liked the borla s type on the previous Gen v6's. I'm just waiting like the rest of you for some good news from borla.

Good news! I will have to hold out on this for a while though as there exhausts are very expensive. But they are one of my favorite for the v6 aside from corsa for the previous gen.

$1400?? Ouch. Why are these several hundred more than the same borla cat-backs for the GT & Ecoboost? Makes no sense to me.

Are these "gold-plated" or what? Absolutely ridiculous price of $700.00 per muffler! Or I guess, "A fool and his money are soon parted"!

The increase in cost is probably due to the fact that Borla uses a 3rd Muffler or proprietary resonator in place of the factory resonator or a typical x or h pipe. I'm sure this is mostly due to achieving the perfect sound with the V6, which like most of us know, does not come easily.

Price reflects quality... (mostly)

Borla designs exhausts from car to car, no exhausts that they manufacture is universal. they are all made specifically for one trim of car and one trim of car only.

Im sure this setup is going to have one of the best tones that the engine is capable of making.

I'm shocked that the MSRP is higher than that of the GT exhaust. Why wouldn't the costs at least be the same?

Let's hope Borla places enough sound clips out to convince people that the price is worth it...I originally didn't realize that they developed a new resonator also. That fact makes the price a bit more palatable...but just a bit.

The Borla system is pretty expensive, judging from the install documents it was designed in Solidworks so it seems pretty well engineered. Hopefully some sound clips will surface soon!

Just because it was designed in solidworks does not mean it was well engineered...! That being said, I have heard nothing but good things about Borla's products. I like the fact that they retained the mid muffler design. I am curious to know if it is straight through like OEM or has an X/H pipe like my magnaflow 11385 muffler. I still think $1400 for an exhaust system is crazy though.... Speaking from experience here...
