Correct. The performance springs are just a touch stiffer than OEM PP GT Springs.

The handling springs will be much stiffer - and will be recommend for use with aftermarket dampers. Although you CAN use them with OEM shocks and struts, they will be better suited for use with Koni's, Bilsteins, etc.

Ahh okay. Will the handling springs also be in that price range of 190? Or leaning more towards 240?

I have a non PP GT, and was told running aftermarket springs would kill my stock dampers, is this true? I won't be able to buy koni shocks for a little while.

Why do you not recommend them to be used with stock dampers? Because your doing yourself a disservice or because they damage something?

Handling springs will definitely be more than $199. Not to exceed $260, though.

Aftermarket springs "could" kill oem dampers, but meh....these cars rely so much on the bump stops, I don't think that will be common.

I do not recommend them simply because the OEM dampers were not designed for 300+lb front springs, and 900lb+ rear springs. Heck, the OEM rear shocks are barely capable of controlling an OEM PP 728lb/in spring..lol

What's the spring rate on your performance springs? PP springs feel bouncy and those who had switch to Steeda progressive says no more bounciness though Steeda claims 20%+ stiffer than oem (don't know if it is oem pp or oem non-pp).

Steeda claims 20% stiffer than GT PP for their linear springs. Not the progressive.

I like Steeda parts as well. Too bad they don't divulge exact spring rates for me to buy theirs as I would like be able to make informed decisions as I'm not just making a purchase for looks alone.

LOL!

As for the rates, our performance springs are going to be roughly:

Linear working rates
Front: 170lb/in.
Rear: 730lb/in.

They are just a touch stiffer than OEM, and are meant for the average person who wants an all around performance car with a nice stance.

We have tested various spring rates more than any other company out there, I am confident. On the PP GT's....we have had excellent results with the PP Spring rates, especially with stiffer/larger sway bars. A PP car with good dampers, and big bars is a killer combo. Put some wider front wheels and good tires on it, and it's serious.

The handling springs will be closer to the 300F / 950R range....

The drag springs, I am not willing to share what we (I) have decided on at this point. ;)

Thanks for the info! Do you have an ETA on the handling springs?

how much low is coming with the handling springs? :D
I would assume they would be the same drop as the performance. Which is how they were with the S197 platform. Just different spring rates.

;)

We do try and keep all of our springs around the same height, simply because we engineer our parts around the geometry we feel is best for said platform.

You said you recommend using handling springs with koni yellows or a similar shock, do you know if anything is going to be out at the time your springs come out to pair with?
