Why would you not be able to get the same Recaros I have in my GT and don't say just get the Track Pack. Then you get a base radio and no nav. Again No thanks.

You cant get the track pack and add the tech pack. You can get the either the track package or the technology package, not both, you mention the tech pack for 3800, which is actually the electronics package for the GT 350R.

So, based on what i ordered i'm at:

62599 - car
9400 - tech pack
475 - cover
600 - stripe
850 - painted roof
1650 - delivery
75574 + 13% HST = $ 85,398.62

I would like to come see your car when you get it . I am in Toronto hope your not to far, That's a good chunk of change for a mustang in Canada, getting into some high fiugures, My parents live in Florida, Think I am going for a trip soon,

Yep, getting hosed, they probably priced the car a month ago when the CDN / USD was around 1.29. It's at 1.22 or so now. The options price is a little more in line but still high. Freight here is also 1650 compared to 825 US.

They have no reason whatsoever to be charging us such a big difference with US prices. Some greedy feds in Ottawa are laughing all the way to the bank.
We still have the choice not to buy the car, of course.
But i so much want one....:frusty:

A number of years ago (10+) i negotiated a discount off MSRP on every vehicle I buy from my Ford dealer. Over the years i have purchased a number of Mustangs, Lincolns, Raptor, Explorer etc. When i want a Ford vehicle I come in, tell him what I want and he gives me my "usual" discount (along with any other manufacturer sponsored discounts applicable). I never go to another dealer and he always gets my business. he always finds me the vehicle I want.

After he keyed in the order and it was accepted I asked him if i will be getting my usual discount and he said yes (and confirmed the %). I don't beat him up for every nickel and he always gives me a fair deal.

Wow, my guess of 48k base, 7k track pack was pretty much dead nuts on. I was getting nervous for a while... Glad I was right!

I think MSRP is a good deal. There are lots who are concerned that they may have to pay over List.

In Canada our prices are higher, perhaps dealers are afraid to put these cars out of reach....
