It says right on the page that inventory isn't and won't be online because it changes daily. You actually have to speak to a human, sorry :/
I don't know if I can handle speaking to a real humun bean though. :^)

OEM tires are usually junk, unless of course its a higher end car that comes with PSS

I can't blame you. If I have to talk to a person I usually get my lady to handle it ;)

lol I'm on the phone all day for work. On a serious note I appreciate the link I just prefer inventory browsing like I do for most online shopping. I like to be informed instead of cold calling.

On my S2000 I only saw about 8k from rears and 16k on fronts. I don't expect any more out of any tire on this car, especially since it has gobs of torque vs the S. For those saying your AS last longer, well yeah, they are a harder compound compared to any summer tire. That's apples to oranges.

Anybody that is surprised by summer tires being at the wear bars at 10k on a rwd high hp car, probably should have done more research. I'm glad I'm not daily driving this or I would be putting a two sets of rears and one set of fronts AT LEAST every year. If you DD this, go ahead and put that in your budget depending on how many miles you drive.

If you want to buy a tire that lasts longer, just be aware you're sacrificing grip for longevity and the risks associated with it.

I'm going with a square set of PSS's for my next tires (with new wheels) I only have 1,100 miles on my car/tires right now and my rear's still have lots of life left in them, but my front tires are in need of imediate replacement after a single track day.

The stock brembo brakes are very good though....ha

Make me go outside and measure my tread depth....pffft.

Edit: 3600 miles (600) Friday and Saturday. One track Day. 4.5-5mm depth on rears. So around 6-7/32's.

LOL brake then turn, those things had to be howling and chattering. Did your fillings fall out?

how is the center of the tread torn up after a track day? Usually its the outside

Because Understeer and too much speed in turns. Literally peels the tread off the tire. The tire is deflecting or rolling up due to a massive slip angle brought on by too much throttle. Expensive way to drive.

I got a little, but I really didn't get much understeer and the sides of the tires have not lost much tread depth. I did 5 sessions that day and after 4 sessions (where I only pulled 1.09g on the brakes) my front tires were still in good shape. It was on my 5th session, I was coming onto the brakes hard (all my braking is in a straight line) and it felt odd under full brake load, as if I had locked up my wheels, but I could feel abs was funcioning. I did end up carrying more speed than I entended through that corner but also hit my highest G in braking of the day on that session.

The center of the tire is what deals with longitudinal grip (like braking or accelerating) and the center of my front tires is the only thing damaged. The edges of the tire, responsable for lateral grip, are still fine.

Also, it's still a smooth ride. From in the car even my mother never said anything after the track day, nor does a single ounce of vibration come through.

The tire footprint is rolling over on itself, my FL did it. That damage is very possibly from turning not braking.
1. What was ambient temperature
2. What tire pressure each corner before?
3. What tire pressure each corner after?
4. What was the track surface?

The outer two blocks of tread are stabilized an actually stay out of harms way, the third block in takes all the load with factory camber settings. Think of your tread as a wave ripple moving across inside to outside. The wave peaks on this Third block in a turn and melts it off. The car had.to be chattering violently in the turns to do this. My tires show similar damage and I can tell you the turn and.lap I did it on, when I did it I thought "I'm peeling the tread off my tire right now"
