I don't care if I park under a tree (no choice unless I want to park on the road), it is really necessary that 5 birds all need to crap on my car?!?!

I have the same issue with my Magnetic. I changed parking locations. I think that week the birds decided to use mine for target practice.

Only 5? Looks like a flock!
I always keep a microfiber towel and instant detailed spray in the trunk just for this reason.

I rushed it to the car wash for an emergency cleaning before I went to work lol. Normally I just use a spritzer with car wash soap mixed in, spray, let it sit, then gently clean...but this called for drastic measures lol.

I have only ever owned Black cars. The first few months of ownership are the most crucial. Excessively detailing and cleaning/polishing it once... then using whatever "sealant" you want, will save the cars paint for years.

But to go one step further and add show of depth and all-around bang. I apply the best natural wax I can find, and just make a hobby of uber-waxing my car 3 times a summer. You can leave bird sh1t on it for weeks, without a prob. But I've only had to apply a glass of water before whatever mostly falls off.

I have had encounters exactly like pictured, coming out of a restaurant. I usually have a sports squeeze bottle handy and within 30 seconds, it was nearly gone. At home, with a house, even road tar isn't actually ever touching the car, just embedded in the layer of wax.

I hate birds too.. set up a defense.

Other than the shine, protection is the reason I apply more wax/sealant every 3-4 months - in 3 layers at a time. I haven't had a car for the last 6 years that didn't bead water, I always have at least a coat or two on it at all times.

I have that same problem. I have to clean at least one or two spots off 4-5 times a week...

That is the exact reason I keep a good coating of wax on mine. If I notice any at lunch, I run to the car wash and hit it with the pressure washer. But wow, you really got bombed!
