I have a question and was wondering if any of y'all have the same thing going on. I just installed a Borla Atak 2.5" cat back system, JLT cold air intake and I just tuned my 2015 GT 5.0 with the 93 Octane program. The car has 1500 miles before I installed. I went to SCT and updated the firmware and other updates before I programmed. The program loaded just fine and there were no issues. Now after a few days it appears that the car has maybe lost a little bit of power, slightly hesitating throttle response at 2200 rpms and she stalled out on me when I gave it a slight rev in the driveway in neutral. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any recommendations? Also, should I be running the car in sport mode or track mode versus normal? Any info would be greatly appreciated. IDK....maybe I'm getting used to the car? I'll see what tall have to say then maybe call up SCT

Is this a canned SCT tune, or one from Bama or another tuner? Have you tried reverting to the stock tune and then reinstalling the 93 tune?

When I got my X4, I updated the device, and loaded the canned SCT tune. I made it about 65 feet down the street before I realized this tune was horrendous.

I tried driving a little further to see if it'd clear up, but had a complete loss of power at 55 mph.

I loaded the stock tune and rocked that until my JLT and Lund tune came in!

Loaded the Lund tune and was blown away!

Get a real tune. Doesn't matter which drive mode you are in, a quality tune shouldn't give you driveability issues.

There are several tune review threads here so don't ask which one is the best.

If you leave the stock tune on until you get another tune, make sure you take that JLT off. But I definitely think the problem is that canned tune.

Went back to stock now I'm gonna reload the 93 octane with the JLT option. Hopefully it clears this up. Fingers crossed. So if it doesn't work out I can request a tune from Bama or Lund and it will be compatable with my SCT X4 right? Sorry guys, just wanna get this right.

Both can tune on the SCT....a number of other tuners also offer SCT tunes.

Just got back from the test run.......JUNK! Damn....this sucks. I guess I'll be looking into another tune. The funny thing is that the SCTX4 came as a package deal with my JLT. Unreal....

Ive been using the canned 93 octane sct tune. Doesnt seem too bad. Definitely didnt have the issues that you are experiencing. I'll probably get a lund tune after I either put on headers or decide to put a blower on.

Who did you order the package from? If ordering direct from JLT they have a package that includes a DTP Brent Hughes tune, which is a quality tune. They send you the parts and you read your strategy and ecu info, send them an email and they send you back the tune.
