Hmm....I must of had all the correct drivers available as my Windows 10 PC updated all "108" files just fine.:shrug:

If you install the program before plugging in the device it will automatically install the drivers once you do plug it in. If you plug in the device before the program installs then you have to manually install the drivers.

I think in some cases it still doesn't automatically install the drivers even when the program is installed first though.

I didn't plug it in until well after program was installed. I had the prompt to install the drivers each time.

Nope, didn't install anything prior to running the update.
I just connected the device, hit update and it did its thing. The X4 had a Jan/15 date on it and like I mentioned went through 108 file iterations.

Think it's my computer. Now it won't even turn on. I guess it's time to replace.

I downloaded the update straight Wifi, but need to connect to computer to install custom email tunes. Got new computer tonight. Had to manual install drivers on this computer too.

You're still going to have to install the drivers to load your tune onto the device.

i had issues with windows 10 on my X4 as well.

ended up running a virtualbox VM with Windows 7 just for updates and tunes. backed the VM up to a jump drive and can access it anywhere i have a computer. it has to do with their windows 8, 8.1, and 10 drivers. windows 7 worked fine.

Mine can't find the tuner. I updated the tuner via WiFi but I need it to recognize so I can download the tune. I tried going to my device manager but that did not work either. Help!

Make sure the device is plugged in. Also make sure the updater program is closed (not running). Then install the drivers through device manager

Have you tried uninstalling the program, then re-install and try manually updating the drivers again?

Yea. I did that twice. Should I let it look for the driver itself or can I brows and look for it someplace.
