Hello everyone! This is my first ever forum post and this is also my first ever Mustang purchase. Also, worth a mention that its my first ever new car purchase.

I recently picked up a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost Premium w/Performance Pkg on 4/08/15, built 3/27/15 and I only have 148 miles on the odometer. Everything has been fine up until now. I went to go for a cruise this evening and when I started her up, lights and sounds were going crazy and it said I should check my brake system.

My ABS light was flashing, Hill Assist didn't work and my AdvanceTrac service was going too. No Check Engine Light though. Any thoughts on this? Anyone with common occurrences? I'm going to take her to the dealership on Thursday 4/23 since its the earliest time I have available.

I'm also going to post some stuff about body panels to get your opinions on whether or not I should ask the dealer to fix some of the fittings. More on this later.

Looking forward to be in this community!

I've had to deal with this problem twice with my fusion. First time they replaced the advancetrac module and second time just a bad sensor. You can drive fine but you don't have any safety nannies. So keep that in mind on wet roads.

I hope not. Especially with RWD. Do you remember how long it took to swap out the sensor? I'd imagine not over a couple hours. Only reason asking is I have to head to something around noon that day. Appointment is 7AM sharp.

I think they had my car for 3 hours for the sensor. But they took me the same day i called so i'm sure it sat for awhile before they looked at it. For the module, I didn't have my car for a week because they had to order the part. Both times they gave me a free rental, so i wasn't all

Hopefully it won't take that long and they have either the sensor or module in stock. :(

Well it won't take them long to know the problem cuz there will be a code to tell them where/what the issue is. So the time for labor and parts in stock are the concern. Good thing your first in the door, that'll help a lot. Good luck!

Yeah. I'm actually taking it in tomorrow morning at 7am. Hopefully I can get everything figured out in a short amount of time. Will update tomorrow morning.

Hey marcomhanna,

How'd everything go at the dealer? Let me know if you're still having an issue; I'll see how I can further assist. I'm here if you have any future questions or concerns as well. :)

Jeff,

Thanks for your response. I took it in and they told me it probably was a computer glitch. The lights switched off about a minute into my drive to the dealership and HillStart started operating as normal. They told me to keep an eye on it and see if there are any strange things but I suppose that's why we have the 3 year warranty.

I'm just a little surprised that a computer glitch of that magnitude would come up at all, especially with a car that has less than 200 miles on the odo.

Anytime, Marco. Hit me up if it occurs again, or if you have any other questions or concerns. :)
