Geez, big prices though. Although, it is a lot cheaper than in the UK! I do think the gap between the eb and gt is a bit big though!

55k + on roads for a 303kw GT will have people flocking in droves to Ford.

IMO it's a bargain! I was expecting closer to 70k on the road.:clap2::clap2::clap2:

$55 plus on road costs to drive away in an iconic mustang is pretty good.
my only complaint is why does it take so long to make a RHD version...???

55k is very reasonable considering we'll be getting performance pack as standard.
Would love to see what dealers will sell them as drive away, probably 65k initially for the keen as mustard buyers then hopefully dropping to 60k or even under with a bit of negotiation..

From Pacific Ford's FPV facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/pacificfordsupportersclub

I notice they refer to it as the 16MY Mustang. Wonder if that means it will get any updates that are passed on to the 16MY US Mustangs (e.g. Sync 3)

This message is to inform you of some important timing if you were considering a new 16MY Mustang.

Ford Australia has formally notified us today to lock in pricing, basic supply timing and most importantly the cut off timing for pre-orders.

The All New Mustang is more refined, efficient and offers more technology and performance than previous generations and we are excited to announce a pricing strategy that delivers exceptional value for the iconic Pony car. Whether customers choose the powerful, yet fuel efficient I4 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine or the performance GT 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8, the All New Mustang retains the aspirational appeal that consumers have associated with Mustang for half a century.

Recommended Manufacturer List Price (incl. GST/LCT)
* I4 2.3-litre EcoBoost
Fastback MT $44,990
Fastback AT $47,490
Convertible AT $53,990

GT 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8
Fastback MT $54,990
Fastback AT $57,490
Convertible AT $63,990

*Recommended MLP only. As always, the offer price of any vehicle is entirely at the discretion of the Dealer. Prices shown exclude Dealer delivery and statutory charges.

Factory Options^
‘Over the top’ Racing Stripes* $650
Black Painted Roof** $975
19” Premium Wheel with Luster Nickel Finish*** $500
Prestige paint $500

^ Please note the option prices do not include LCT which affects GT 5.0L V8 AT Convertible model. Please calculate tax accordingly.

* Not available with Black Painted Roof, Convertible models only available with Ebony Stripe

** Not available with ‘Over the top’ Racing Stripes or Convertible models

*** Only available on GT 5.0l V8 models.

We will lose our access to the Mustang Pre-Order Portal this Friday 6th meaning we cannot directly enter customer orders to Ford for the MY16 Mustang. We will have a final opportunity to manually log pre-orders with Ford up until close of business this month - 31st March. The Pre-Ordered Mustangs are planned to be supplied from this November through to February 2016 – it should be a Merry Christmas for some new Mustang owners. Any orders taken post this March 31st will have to be supplied from March 2016 and ongoing months, available stock. So if you want to find out more about the Mustang and the Pre-Order process, please just call in to Pacific Ford or phone us on 07 5458 9777 to discuss your options.

I think all the prices were off by $10000. Look at ford.com.au

It says the starting price is higher on build and price
Because they show drive away price on there.

The pricing that dealer has posted on their Facebook page is correct but doesn't include onroads.
