I'd like a TMPS relearn tool for my GT as i am getting new wheels and would like to swap them out for OEM wheels as well on certain occasions . Has anyone in Aust bought one and used successfully could you please give me make and part number of the device , also where you bought it would be handy . Amazon has a lot listed but it worries me these may not be suitable for non US cars . Any help appreciated

Hi mate I got new wheels and purchased a set of Ford sensors for my new wheels. I didn't need to use any tool the car just recognised them. I was also able to put the oem wheels on and use them and swap back to my new wheels with no problems at all. I don't think you need a relearn tool.....well I didn't.

I am going to need a reset tool , i got issues and need a relearn . I have a low pressure warning while all my tyre pressures are ace and yes I've tried driving it I've driven it 400 kilometers . I've adjusted the tyre pressures god knows how many times .

I take it you've tried pressing & holding the ok button to reset them after getting the pressures where you want them?

I put an aftermarket set of wheels on my 2017 around 3 months ago and used genuine Ford TPMS sensors. I bought a genuine Motorcraft reset tool off a place here in Australia called Autoware (autoware.com.au) for about $100.00 bucks as I had read about problems with resetting without the tool or cheap chinese copies of the tool.
The bloke at the tyre place said I should be right as I was using Ford OEM sensors and it should auto detect them.
They were ok for about 20km's then the warning light came on so when I got home, I followed the procedure to put it in training mode and then used the reset tool on each rim and haven't had a problem since. This was very easy to do and I was glad I had the tool onhand.
Just my experience anyway.
