The shoe thing is my biggest issue. I now keep a detailing cloth in the glove box it's bothered me so much. I don't mind the window pushing tbh, it keeps finger prints off my paint lol.

If you're that worried, buy some of this to apply to the plastic interior sill:

Cheap protection you can later peel and replace as needed.

I close my door by either holding on to the door handle or placing the side of my hand on the end of the door so no fingerprints show.

And I open my door from the inside when I am getting out by putting one finger BEHIND the chrome release handle (fingerprint/smudge nightmare) & then push my elbow on the "plastic leather" arm rest part to open.

And yes, I am an OCD freak when it comes to my baby.

I hardly ride any passengers, but I do have a friend who loves to push buttons and change the radio station in my DD car. So when I gave him a ride in the Stang, the first thing I told him is DO NOT PLAY WITH ANY SWITCHES!! I had to explain to him that the switches control Traction Control and the Driver and Steering modes and him playing with them while I am driving could cause unexpected results.

Haha nah the stock stuff is fine, just people's sneakers leave a dirt line. I keep a microfiber in the glove box and one quick pass and it's good as new. So far I haven't let anyone in the car who had any trash or food. My first road trip is going to be interesting if someone can't leave their snacks at home or can't finish their meal before we leave... Every time I take one with friends and I go to bring the rental back I find wrappers and crap stuck in all the weird places... Funniest had to been the half eaten poptart that someone started on, put down then fell asleep while it slid under them.

See I don't mind the window. Finger prints on glass are easier to deal with than on paint for me lol.

Slamming doors and food in my car are my pet peeves (oh yeah and helmet scuffs on the headliner).

My wife just simply doesn't care about cars or anything she is using. She believes that there is no need to be careful about any tangible goods since eventually everything will be replaced(not really a complain, most of the female friends I know does exactly the same thing) She will slam the door, scratch the bumper every time she went out shopping with shopping bags. Therefore I make sure she drive my car as less as possible since I am a perfectionist.
