I've had the chance to test drive several different manual transmission set-ups. The V8 with each of the three axle ratios, and the EcoBoost with the 3.55. I haven't found a V6 manual with a 3.55. The 3.55 definitely wakes up the engine response and the 3.73 is just a tad too much.
The eBoost I drove was a lot of fun. This is in a semi - well populated area. It was not the V8 though, although I thought it maybe handled better since it was about 200 lbs lighter over the front wheels.
I know there are are other threads out there. But could we go over once more the different smile x satisfaction quotients from the two engines, with manual transmission and maybe the 3.55 axle, particularly with the V6 (which I maybe could afford)?
Of course, you can't get the performance package with the V6.
